Being very proud of his beast mode, G.E.R.B.I.L-12 often enjoys interaction with real, wild gerbils.
None of the other Maximals knew it, but G.E.R.B.I.L.-12 actually smuggled a vat of organic goo from Cybertron to grow enourmous sunflowers for harvesting their seeds to eat.
