Football sucks. There, I said it. What are all you football fans going to do about it? I saw an episode of King Of The Hill last night (I know I said I hate it but there was nothing else on, leave me alone) and in it, a student was the captain of the school football team and because of this all of the teachers purposely made him an honor student because if he wasn't then he wouldn't be able to go to college, play college football, and put their town on the map once he makes it into the NFL, regardless of the fact that the guy was a slacker student, was lazy as hell, and had the writing abilities of a lobotomy patient with the knife still stuck in his brain. Peggy in the show was substituting for one of the classes that he was in and gave him an F on his mid-term, which caused all of the other teachers to get pissed off at her (as well as the rest of the town). They said "This isn't junior high anymore, this is the real world". So the real world doesn't need someone with a real education, but instead would rather have someone who can tackle people into the ground and throw a stupid piece of leather (Or whatever the fuck it's made out of) to somebody else? Football is a stupid sport. Why do people make such a big deal out of it with Superbowl Sunday, and the huge show they have in the middle of it? It's a waste of time, and the rules are stupid. I've never watched a football game that made me wet my pants because of the intense action, and that goes double for shitty football video games. Man I hate those games so much. I played one before, and it was nothing more than choosing a play, and then watching your players carry it out. You could hold the turbo button down with something, walk away, and still probably come back with a decent score. How boring. Why do people sit around and even play these games? They're all the same every year. Some have different graphics than others, but when it all boils down to it it's the same stupid piece of shit it always was.

What REALLY pisses me off is when highschool make a big deal out of their football team (Like that episode I was telling you about) like they're gods or something. That's why I hate pretty much every teen movie now. That's one of the reasons why I hated the movie the new guy. More wasted time, wasted effort, wasted money on shitty sports that don't really mean shit in the real world except to take people's minds off of their shitty little problems. It's almost like sports are a drug. Why do teachers give highschool jocks special privilages just because they can toss a ball around and beat up the smart people because they actually want to learn something that'll help them get through when they go out into the working world.

Why do these obsessed morons sit around with those huge foams fingers, screaming things when the camara is panned onto them like "We did it (insert wife's name here)! I love you! We made it" make such a big deal over this? You people didn't do a goddamn thing. Why do we idolize sports figures? Why do we idolize anybody at all? Idolizing celebrities is a load of shit. Like I always say, we're not supposed to idolize celebrities, we're supposed to hate them because they keep reminding us that we're never going to be as rich as they are. The only thing that these celebrities do for us is to inspire us to better ourselves, but most of the time it's just to better ourselves in the same line of work that thhese celebbrities are in. Some kid sees his favorite football player and he decided he wants to be just like him so he goes out and practices throwing around a ball for hours on end in hopes that one day he'll be just like some dumbass NFL player. What a load of wasted talent. Many people might think that I look at musicians and want to better myself guitarwise because of them. Hell no, I look at local musicians that think they're better than me and piss me off to no end, this inspires me to be better than them and rub it in THEIR faces for a change. As quoted by one of my favorite bands Atreyu in their song You Eclipsed By Me "hate can be a positive emotion when it forces you to better yourself". I may hate a lot of people and I may be one of the most pissed off people in the world, but I'm not letting it destroy me. I'm letting it give me initiative to surpass everyone else and piss everyone else off for a change. Blow me.
