I was sitting on my bed in my room the other morning with a bowl of snacks (as I was ever fucking hungry) flipping through my television stations in hopes that I would find something decent to watch. It was three in the morning and there seemed to be nothing that was any good on. I kept flipping through the channels (Weird ass bullshit like Rocket Robinhood and Roboroach and worse of them all, nothing but a bunch of retarded bikini infomercials) and it seemed like I wouldn't find anything on that I could watch while I ate my huge bowl of snacks. Then suddenly by luck I changed the channel to the space station just as I noticed an animated TV show that looked strangly familiar to me. I changed to another station, only to change it back for a second glance and I swear to god I could not be any more happy than i was at that moment. It was then that I realized that what I was watching was none other than the greatest animated show ever to be created. SPAWN!!!

I started watching Spawn back when they first decided to air it on the cartoon network (or teletoon as they call it down here in canada) and I was amazed at the pure genious that went into making this remarkable character. I'm not talking about the stupid shitty pseudo badass character that they portray in the real people movie that they constantly show on the superstation (you know, the one that lacks the swearing, storyline, special effects and the blood an gore that they show on the animated TV show.) I have never seen the movie for Spawn because I haven't found the time for it. It just doesn't look like it's worth my effort to watch. That and I'd take the show over the movie any day.

Anyways, the show just downright kicks ass. The creator, Todd McFarlane, is probably the most ingenious person to ever live. His brilliant ideas and artistic talents really show with his comics.
