Mackenzie "Ruthie Camden" Rosman

Mackenzie Rosman - Mackenzie was born on December 28, 1989, in Charleston, South Carolina. The 5'3 Mackenzie, or Mackie to some people, is best known for her role as Ruthie Camden on "7th Heaven," although she did star as JonBenet Ramsey in the 2000 made-for-TV movie, "Getting Away With Murder: The JonBenet Ramsey Mystery." She also appeared on "Total Access 24/7," "Hollywood Squares," and "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." She got her start at a young age doing commercials, particularly for Hormel Hot Dogs, a job she liked especially well because of the free food she got to eat. Mackenzie, who lived with her mother, Donna, and brother, Chandler, is an avid lover of animals, and she owns many pets, including horses, and contributes some of her time to animal charities. In fact, she was recently featured on the cover of "Young Rider" magazine. It's no surprise her favorite "7th Heaven" episode is "Say A Little Prayer for Me," where she gets to ride a horse. On a side-note, Mackenzie also has a half-sister, Katelyn, who has cystic fibrosis (CF) and guest-appeared in a "7th Heaven" episode; is left-handed; likes catering and giving interviews; loves "Hello, Kitty"; and gets the most fan mail out of any "7th Heaven" cast member. Mackenzie enjoys dancing, skating. swimming, and reading. Her favorite food is dairy -- mainly ice cream. In 2000, Mackenzie was nominated with her on-screen siblings by the YoungStar Awards for Best Young Ensemble Cast - Television. In addition, the Young Artists Awards have recognized her many times. In 1999, she was nominated with her fellow actors for Best Performance in a TV Series - Young Ensemble. In addition, she was nominated in 1998 and 2002 for Best Performance in a TV Drama Series - Supporting Young Actress; and in 1997 for Best Performance in a TV Comedy/Drama - Supporting Young Actress Age Ten or Under.
