19 A Well, they did stick a knife in me, a knife thing in
20 me.

22 mother that those are things Dan told you and they didn't
23 really happen to you?
24 A Um, well, the knife did happen to me and I told my
25 mom about it.

6 A Um, I think it was at the old house. That's where I

12 A Um, I don't remember because I was a little kid.

25 A Um, well, the sharks would surround the boat. This

2 Q What happened when the sharks surrounded the boat?
3 A They looked like they were going to bite the boat and
4 make a hole in it.
5 Q Okay. Was Mr. Bob on the boat when the sharks were
6 circling around it?
7 A Yes, sir.
8 Q Did he say anything about the sharks?
9 A No, because -- cause one of his friends kept those --
10 had -- had those sharks for a pet and had them, and that
11 friend was with him and he let them go.
12 Q Okay. Now, which one of Mr. Bob's friends kept those
13 sharks as a pet?
14 A Scott Privott.
15 Q He did; where did he keep the sharks?
16 A He kept them in his salt water pond -- he had a pond
17 behind his house and he puts lots and lots of salt in it so
18 the sharks could live.
19 Q Okay. And when he took the sharks out there so they
20 could circle around the boat, how did he get them out there
21 so they could circle around the boat?
22 A He picked them up and put them in his big aquarium
23 and took them out to the Sound and let them go out and
24 surround the boat.
25 Q Now, how did he catch them again to get them back to

1 his salt water pond?
2 A Because they -- he has this machine that can go out
3 in the water and gets it -- it's a boat machine and he
4 drives it out, and it was a boat and had machinery on it,
5 and, um, the machinery got it so -- so it would pick the
6 sharks up. And he had made it and he made it and he
7 invented it.
8 Q Okay. Scott Privott invented that machine to catch
9 the sharks?
10 A Yes, sir.
11 Q And you saw it catch the sharks out there, Will?
12 A Yes, sir.
13 Q Is that the truth?
14 A Yes, sir.
15 Q Are you sure?
16 A I'm sure.
17 Q Now, besides Mr. Bob and Ms. Shelly and Mr. Scott
18 being out there on the boat, was there ever anybody else on
19 the boat, any other grown-ups?
20 A Sometimes Ms. -- sometimes Shelly went out there and
21 sometimes Dawn went out there. That's mostly all the people
22 I know who went out there.
23 Q Okay. You need to get your medal back? You can get
24 it back.
25 A It's a key ring, not a medal.

3 Q Okay. Now, Will, when Dawn went out there on the
4 boat what did she do?
5 A She would make sure, um, she would make sure we
6 would, um, she made sure the sharks stayed around the boat,
7 that's what she did.
8 Q How did she keep the sharks around the boat?
9 A She kept throwing -- she would throw food in the
10 water for the sharks.
11 Q And that would make them swim around the boat?
12 A Yes.
13 Q Okay. Now, when you got in the water were the sharks
14 still there?
15 A Yes, sir.
16 Q How did you keep the sharks away from you?
17 A I had -- I took some, um, -- some food with me and I
18 threw it out in the water so they would stay away from me.
19 Q So they would go over where the food was?
20 A Uh-huh.
21 Q Well, how did you get back in the boat again?
22 A Um, I -- I swam over to the boat.
23 Q Okay. When you got to the boat, how did you get back
24 on it?
25 A I climbed back on it.

1 Q And what did you climb to get on?
2 A They had, um, one of those diver steps on the back of
3 the boat, where the divers could get in, jump off and get in
4 the water, and I went around to the back of the boat and got
5 on.
6 Q So you climbed up on the divers' step and crawled
7 back in the boat?
8 A Uh-huh.
9 Q How about your friends, how did they get back in the
10 boat?
11 A There was a rope in the boat and I threw that out for
12 them.
13 Q Who were your friends that you threw the rope to
14 them?
15 A Alex, and I threw the rope to him because I didn't
16 want him to drown and I didn't want the sharks to hurt him
17 or anything. So I threw a rope out to him so he wouldn't
18 get hurt.
19 Q Did you pull him back in the boat?
20 A Yes, sir.
21 Q Now, Will, is that the truth?
22 A Yes, sir.
