An ambitious project is currently underway to identify, photograph and catalogue
all known “pre-Hutchinson” soda water bottles used in Ontario / Canada West from
approximately 1845 – 1885. In addition, extensive histories are being researched and
written on the early soda water manufacturers of Ontario.
The authors would appreciate hearing about rare examples in existence, as well as
photographs, advertising or any other relevant information that may be helpful in
the creation of the “Guide to Collecting Ontario Soda Water Bottles”. Contact info
