The late twentieth century saying used to go that you could tell a lot
about a person by looking at their bookshelf - maybe this century it'll
be their homepage. Of course, a fake persona would be easier to create on
the web, but may be easier to detect too. Much as I mourn it, privacy may
become impossible during this century - a return to "village" life where
everyone knows everybody else's business? Or a "one-way-street", where the
rich and powerful can know whatever they need to about all the rest of us?
So here's a fraction of a dimension of myself that I choose to present to
