Brophy and Hogan in alleged scandal in Dublin

Newtown stars James "Chinky" Brophy and Francis "Jeffers" Hogan were allegedly involved in a sordid orgy in Dublin recently, according to a local newspaper. This claim is made by two women who say that the Newtown sex symbols picked them up in a nightclub in the city, then took them back to Hogan's apartment where they engaged in a full blown orgy, which they filmed. Brophy's agent Ger Killeen rubbished claims against his client saying "James Brophy has never picked up somebody in a nightclub, it simply is not his way!!Never!" Brophy is currently recovering from injury in Dublin and he and Hogan had recently been seen partying a lot in Dublin with close friend Eamonn Dunphy.

Hogan was unavailable for comment at the weekend. This is not the first scandal to surround James Brophy, and comes not long after the Edinburgh tragedy of earlier this year.

Hogan, who the ladies call Jeffers because he goes down easily in the box, is also no stranger to controversy, having been suspened from ULFC for a year and is regularly given an early exit from local nightclubs. Newtown PRO The Grunt was also unavailable for comment, as it was dole day and he was "busy"..
