Europe's banknote designers seems not have stretched too much their imaginations. It’s sure they don’t visit all important cities in Europe.

An appropriate design for the new European currency could be a nowadays version of the Daedalus’ cow for Pasiphae, the Queen of Creta, that means the love which bore the Minotaur, the myth of the birth of Europe.

Here you can see a photo of the sculpture by Òscar Estruga - a new Daedalus. Its location is on the beach of Vilanova i la Geltrú. It's an exceptionally attractive one.
