*Editor's Note:  "Cosplaying" is the art of dressing to look like your favorite fictional character (such as characters in anime or manga) or it can also mean dressing to look the way your favorite celebrity looks (such as a member of Glay!).  :)

Part 1:  Group Cosplayers!

There is a newly set up Glay cosplaying team, called Shake-M!  It seems to be the first Glay cosplaying team in Hong Kong ~ Sugoi!  They are Teko, Takuru, Hisaka and Jiroe (you know who they are cosplaying by their name, right?  =D)

1st day:  Suit Cosplay! (center photo)

Su~go~iiii~!!!  Even the pose is the same as Glay's in What's In? magazine!!!

3rd day:  Happiness Cosplay!  (photo on the left)

Here, I have a short interview with one of the cosplayers - Takuru *(From this, you know I am no good at interviewing.  It's really hard to think of good questions...  /_\)

A:		How did you meet the other members of Shake-M?  I am really curious about this, because they are of different form and such!  Also, it's really hard to unite a group for the sake of cosplaying.
T:		I met Jiroe and Hisaka on the street, and I met Teko on ICQ.
A:		On the street?!
T:		Yes.  Since Hisaka knew I was a Glay fan, she asked for my address and then we became friends.
A:		(?!) How did she recognize you?
T:		Someone told her about me, but I don't know the person who told her about me, either.
(A:  Wow, then this is really destiny!  Hey!  If you want to form a cosplay team, you may imitate their way!)
A:		How long have you been cosplaying?
T:		I started last year, so I have cosplayed for 9 months now.  I cosplayed a visual J-rocker at first.
A:		I know you like Jiro most, but why do you cosplay Takuro?
T:		Um. . . I am pleased to cosplay anyone in Glay. . .cosplaying Takuro makes me love him and know him more.
A:		Yep, there are not many people who cosplay Takuro.
T:		When I cosplay him, I started to understand Takuro's feelings. . .[most fans only concentrate on the other 3 members. . .] (A:  that's me =P) and so, from now on, I will love him more :)  - and his guitar skill is so great~!!!!! - also the piano and the songs. . . lyrics . . .
(Ayu felt ashamed ~ Ayu's loyalty is not good compared with her!. . .)
A:		What's your preparation to cosplay?
T:		In the past, we go to the shopping mall to get change and wear makeup; but, since we have to set our hair, we now go to one of the members' homes to prepare the cosplay.
A:		Then, people in the street will wonder about your look!
T:		Yep, and the feeling of being stared at by others is quite funny! (laugh) Also, Shake-M are now practicing  playing Glay songs!  Takuru, of course, will play the part of Takuro!   We want to show people that we are a band - we are not just superficial.
A:		Wow~ this is really Glay spirit!  Hope you will enjoy much success!!!   =)

Part 2:  Individual Cosplayers!

Individual cosplayers are very, very cool, too!!!

Part 3:  HER SPECIALTY IS JIRO!

Wanna know more about how to cosplay Jiro?  I have another short interview with one of the Jiro cosplayer above.  Who is she? Her name is Kin, and she is the one with the nice pure soul hair and the blue bass!

A:		How long have u been cosplaying Jiro?  Why did you start that (who influenced you?)?
K:		Well, I have been cosplaying Jiro for about 1 1/2 year, since Comic World 2; but, I didn't cosplay him in every function.  I only cosplayed Jiro in Comic World 1, Comic World 8, Comic World 9, and Comicker's Market 2000.  I started to cosplay him just for fun.  I remembered at that time, most of my friends were cosplaying; therefore, I choose Jiro - who is my favourite J-rocker - to cosplay so as to join them.
A:		What preparation do you need to cosplay Jiro?  Who sets up your hair...?
K:		I didn't prepare much at first, only gelled my hair and put on sporty wear.  Later, I found that it would look better if I dyed my hair; therefore, I have dyed my hair blond since then. And - I tried to look for clothes which looked similar to Jiro's wear - just similar, not exactly the same.  My friends helped me to gel my hair.  It takes a long time to copy Jiro's hair style.  At first, they needed nearly 2 hours to do so, but, the second time, they didn't need more then half an hour.
A:		Why did you choose to cosplay Jiro?
K:		I chose to cosplay him simply because I like him most!  And, he has a little baby fat, that's why I can cos him.  I can't cosplay someone who is too thin, you know, I'm overweight.
(Ayu:  Yep , she really does fit cosplaying Jiro, because she is really about 169cm tall!)
A:		What do u learn from cosplaying him?
K:		I'm trained to get make up by myself although I hate that.  And, I have learnt how to pose up, and which position/angle to make myself look better! (laugh)
A:		What u think is the hardest to cosplay Jiro?
K:		To copy his dragon ball hairstyle, no doubt! (Ayu: dragon ball hair = Pure Soul hair: Jiro was once laughed  at by others that his hair was like the main character in Dragon Ball, which is a comic =D)  Thanks my buddies for geling my hair!

A:		Have you cosplayed Jiro to play bass?  (I asked this because she has the bass!)
K:		I brought my bass, and I'm learning it. However, I haven't played that in front of others. There's no aim for the bass...
A:		I look forward u playing that in the future!

They are all so great that they have the enthusiasm courage to be a cosplayer!  It does require a lot: of time to dress up, time to search for Glay information, money to buy clothes.. Ayu is really proud that Hong Kong has so many great cosplayers!  - but, for Ayu, she is never brave enough to do that.  *shame =P
