Letters To Editor

I recently had the opportunity to see Martina McBride in concert here in Thunder Bay and I can't begin to tell you how fabulous a performance it was. She appeared with John Berry and Jason McCoy, and though the other two were also excellent, it was Martina who really "captured my heart!"

Earier that day I was fortunate to have been able to meet hern in preson at an autograph session at our local Walmart store and have photos taken with her. During our conversation, I had told her how I was definitely her bigest fan and totally loved her new CD Wild Angels. I wore the autographed T-shirt she had sent me about a year ago when I was sick in the hospital awaiting a heart transplant, so I thanked her for the generous gesture, telling her how much it had lifted my spirits at a time when things were not going too well.

Afterwards, she said, "So, I'll see you at the show tonight." I told her, however, that I hadn't been able to obtain tickets, and I was ecstatic when she very kindly gave my wife and I a pair for the evening's concert! I couldn't have been more happier!

So, we ended up going to the show after all, and it turned out to be one of the happiest days of my life. Martina's truly the best and I admire her ta;ent so very much. And, to add to all that, she's probably the nicest person I've ever met.

You could make us Martina McBride fans happier, too, by publishing more articles and photos of Martina in future issues of your magazine.
