About Wild Angels

"(...) and the second day we shot all my stuff, my performance. I had the same kind of feelin' about 'Wild Angels' as I did about 'Independence Day,' in a way. I knew... I didn't think it was gonna be the... You know, it wasn't the issue kind of song that 'Independence Day' was, but I felt that it was... It really had something important to say. It talks about, you know, real life and... When we were makin' the video, I... we got... You know, you make a lot... I've made several videos and you try to make each one special, but you know, you get a feelin' on some of them, and this one was one that we just all kind of felt like was gonna be something really, really extra special.

About On My Own with Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood and Linda Davis

"The call for 'On My Own' with Reba came strictly from Reba. She called... Her manager (...) called my manager, Bruce Allen, and just, you know, she invited me to come sing on the record. Ad it was such an honor, because I've been a big Reba McEntire fan for so long. I grew up singing in cover bands and I always sang, you know, any new song that she would have on the redio, I'd go and work it (...). She's just such an inspiration to so many of us. So to be, you know, standing in the same room with her and being on one of a piece of her music and... It's just a really cool thing. And the video, we had a great time doin' the video. Reba... I had met her before once but I never really got to spend any time with her, so I didn't, you know, know what to expect and it's great when you meet someone and they're as wonderful as you hope they would be. Cause I have looked after for a long time and she made us all feel so comfortable. And we had a great time makin' that video. We really had...We spent all day together, did a bunch of girl talk and she tought us how ro play poker and it was a lot of fun.

About setting goals and future career plans

"I don't really set goals, cause in this business it's so hard to do that. I kind of just try to take it as it comes and hopefully make some right decisions along the way and say 'yes' to the right things and 'no' to the right things. And we... As far as things that we will obviously do is make another album (...) I'm looking for songs right now, we're scheduled to probably not record at the end of the year, the album schedule to be out in '97. So I've got quite bit of time to put that together and to tour around the summer and hope that 'Wild Angels' does well.
