a.  To the nearest whole #, how many cars pass thru the intersection over the 30 min period?

the integral from 0-30 of (82+4sin(t/2)dt = 2472 cars pass through the intersection



b.  Is traffic flow inc or dec at t=7?  give reason.

F'(t) = 2cos(t/2) = 2cos (7/2) <0.  Therefore, traffic flow is decreasing b/c F'(t) is negative.



c.  What is the average value of the traffic flow over the time interval 10 < or equal to t < or equal to 15?  Units of measure?

(1/5) the integral from 10 to 15 of (82+4sin(t/2)dt = 81.999 cars per minute

d.  What is the avg rate of change of the traffic flow from the interval 10-15?  indicate units of measure.

[82+4sin(15/2)-(82+4sin(10/2))]/5 cars per minute. I dont have a calculator right now but u can figure that out
