Welcome to my CODES section! Here you will find all sorts of secrets for this games. I will list all the codes for the hidden characters and also other goodies like how to beat up your beaten opponent and switch leaders at the Vs. Screen! By the way, the hidden EX Option in this game offers more added features than the one found in X-Men vs. Street Fighter, you can make your opponent human or computer controlled even if you're in vs. Mode and you can set your super meter to refill to level 3 automatically right after using it and you may also have faster life recovery. But before even trying to play the game with these codes on, I recommend you to play the game the way it was meant to play so that you can get a feel for it. After that, you can go back and activate all the cheats you want so that you can have your revenge on anyone who defeated you.
At the Title Screen, highlight the Option menu and quickly press R1,O,left,Triangle, Triangle. After doing the code correctly, you will be taken to the hidden EX Option screen where you may choose from the following options. Player 1&2:Human/CPU You can make any of the players to be controlled by either the computer or a human player. This applies to all gameplay modes as well!HIDDEN EX OPTION
Hyper Combo Gauge- Normal/Full You may set your Hyper Combo meter to always be at Level 3 or at zero. If you choose full, your Hyper Combo gauge will filled up to level 3 at the start of the match and refill immediately after you use it!
Life Recovery Gauge- Slow/Normal/Fast You may select the speed at which your character's life bar will be refilled from the red bar! If you choose slow, then expect to wait about five years for your life bar to regenerate (pun intended). If you choose normal, then it may take about a minute to do its work and if you choose fast, then your life bar will regenerate quickly after five seconds (you have to wait 5 seconds before your life starts to recover from the red life bar).
HIDDEN CHARACTER CODES
For these codes, you have to highlight a character and then hold select and then press a punch or a kick. Its very simple and you don't have to wait five seconds like in arcade.

OTHER COOL TRICKS
Beat Up Defeated Opponent
After winning the match, press the Select buton and your character will be able to move again! You may hit the opponent with normal moves, special moves and even supers!
Switch Leaders
Dan's Explotion
VARIABLE ASSIST MOVE LIST
This is a list of all the variable assists performed by each character. To perform a Variable Assist, press Strong Punch + Forward simultaneously. Your main character will perform a brief taunt and call his teammate for help. Be careful with this move, because you could end up eating a super or team super which is even worse.
Akuma
M.Bison
Variable Assist Move: Psycho Shot
Description: Bison basically shoots his Strong Punch Psycho Shot which goes straight torwards the opponent. Not a very useful move since its slow. If you use it from about 1/2 screen and near the corner, you might be able to add an extra hit to your jump-ins.
Black Heart/Mephisto
Variable Assist Move: Jab Dark Thunder
Description: Black Heart shoots out electricity along the floor and hits any opponent standing still. Not a very good move since opponents can simply jump over it. Use it against turtles only.
Captain America/U.S. Agent
Variable Assist Move: Charging Star
Description: Captain America dashes towards with his shield in front of him and repels any projectile type move. It may also be used for pushing back opponents who like to get very close. You may also use it to set up any non-comboable supers!
Chun-Li
Variable Assist Move: Kikouken
Description: Chun-Li rears back and then shoots a fireball that travels across the screen. Not very useful because it is very slow and weak. You may get lucky if you are able to hit the opponent with it.
Cyclops
Variable Assist Move:Gene Splice
Description: Cyclops does the jab version of his Gene Splice. This move is only good for counterattacking jumpy opponents or setting anti-air hyper combos like Hulk's Gamma Crush.
Dan
Variable Assist Move: Gadouken
Decription: Dan throws his tiny fireball. A very bad move to use, because it has no range and you could end up being comboed to death! Do not use this!!!
Dhalsim
Variable Assist Move: Yoga Fire
Description: Dhalsim throws out his Jab Yoga Fire. This fireball is a little weak, but it more pays off for its speed. I'm not sure of how you would use this one appropiately, but anyways it is still a good variable assist move.
Hulk
Variable Assist Move: Gamma Charge
Description: Hulk performs his horizontal Gamma Charge and takes out any opponent who is standing still on the ground! A very good move, because it inflicts decent damage and it sets up Wolverine's Fatal Claw perfectly!
Ken
Variable Assist Move: Shoryuken
Description: Ken performs his fierce Dragon Punch. I don't like this move very much because it barely has any horizontal range and its only good for taking out jumping opponents.
Omega Red
Variable Assist Move: S.Fierce Punch
Description: Omega Red jumps into the fight and performs his S.Fierce and then leaves. This move sucks! I pitty Capcom for giving Omega Red one of the worst Variable Assist moves in the game. You might as well not have him help you at all.
Ryu
Variable Assist Move:Hadouken
Description: Ryu simply shoots out his Hadouken! A very good move because it inflicts decent damage, but the downside is that this move is a little slow.
Sakura/Dark Sakura
Variable Assist: Hurricane Kick (I dunno its Japanese name)
Description: Sakura jumps in and then performs her Roundhouse Hurricane Kick. I don't think this is such a great move because it tends to miss opponents a lot and it barely inflicts any damage.
Shadow
Variable Assist Move: Summersault Shell
Description: Shadow basically jumps in and performs his Summersault Shell. A great move for counterattacking jumping opponents, but it doesn't really help to set up any special moves or hyper combos.
Shumma-Gorath
Variable Assist Move: Mystic Smash
Description: Shumma-Gorath jumps in and performs his Mystic Smash. Very painful move, but it doesn't really help to set up any special moves or hyper combos either unless you perform a move that is fast enough to connect before the opponent is sent flying.
Spider-Man
Variable Assist Move: Web Swing
Description: Spider-Man performs the Short Kick version of his Web Swing on the ground. This move sets up special moves or hyper combos that can otg an opponent!
Wolverine
Variable Assist Move: Berserker Barrage
Description: Wolvie basically performs his Berserker Barrage! I don't know how the computer is able to add hits, but I do know that you can only combo beam or rushing hyper combos after this.
Zangief
Variable Assist Move: Dashing Bear Grab (I think)
Description: Zangief dashes forward a little and if he manages to grab the opponent, he will slam them on the ground! I don't know much about this move because I don't use Zangief as a helper.
