Warning, imbibe carefully, they can sneak up on you.
Preparation: Just follow the
directions on the box, substituting whatever amount of liquor for an equal
amount of water. To whit:
Boil the water.
Pour the boiling water over the powder in a large bowl, stir until dissolved.
Add the liquor, stir and let cool to room temperature; then chill until
firm.
You can pour the cooled concoction into 3 oz. bathroom Dixie Cups and chill for individual servings. Or, perhaps pour 'em into ice cube trays, or what have you?

Make them in the usual way.
Distribute the Screwdriver Jell-O (the orange with vodka) into little cups.
Let it set, then
distribute the Fuzzy Yellow
Handle Jell-O (the lemon with peach schnapps) on top as a second layer.

boxes of Nabisco "Royal"-brand gelatine, Lemon-Lime flavor.

Lemon Jell-O and one small Lime Jell-O.

Combine in the usual way...
Jovian Sunspot Jell-O
A "Jovian Sunspot" is a mixed drink, found on the space station Babylon-5.
Mango Jell-O, large
box
Orange Jell-O, small
box
1/2 cup Triple
Sec
1/2 cup
Honeydew Melon Liqueur (such as Midori),
1/2 cup
Early Times Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey,
Raspberry Jello,

Dissolve the Orange and Raspberry
Jell-O in 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Add 1/2 cup Honeydew liqueur and 1/2
cup Triple Sec, and 1 cup of cold water. Cool to room temperature.
Pour into 1-oz. plastic cups
- you'll need about 40-60
of them. Chill until firm.
Dissolve the Mango Jell-O in 2 cups of boiling water. Add 1 1/2 cup cold water, and the Early Times whiskey or equivalent. Cool to room temperature.
Use a bowl of warm water
to loosen the 1-ouncers; 10 seconds or so should do it.
They should just pop out into the 2 oz cups you've assembled, then pour
the Mango Jell-O around them.
Chill until firm.

My favorite time of day is in the evening after the hook is down and just relaxing in the cockpit with my ol' friend and sailing companion, the Captain. As a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Master, I don't drink while underway, and I trust you don't either.
