Store Your Magic Circle

There are occasionally
situations when it is not possible to cast a formal protective circle, even
thought it may be very necessary. This
spell allows you to cast a formal circle then store it in a consecrated,
energized crystal for later use. The
crystal can be of any type, provided it is one you have a strong affinity for.
It should, however, be one you can wear as a pendant, in a ring or on a bracelet.
Needed Items:
Normal altar equipment
Protection incense or Dragon's blood, or sage
Cinnamon oil/extract or Dragon's Blood oil
1 Crystal (any type)
Invite Dragon Companions (optional)
Step 1:
Raise the crystal high in salute to your attending Dragons and say:
Behold this
crystal! From the forces of
Creation has it come. Many paths it
has taken before finding its way to me. I
accept it as a gift from the Earth. May it serve me well from this point forward so that I may
better walk the path which I have chosen.
Step
2: Dip the crystal in the salt water, then pass it through the
incense smoke. As you do this,
visualize the crystal as first cloudy and dirty, then becoming bright and clean.
Know that the crystal is being purged of any unwanted energies or
influences and say:
Now
does the combined powers of the elements drive out all unwanted energies and
influences from this crystal. From
this days forward it shall be cleansed and pure, accepting only those energies
which I allow. May it serve
me always that I may grow in strength, wisdom and honor.
Step 3:
Anoint the crystal with the Dragon's blood oil and charge it with protective
energy by chanting:
Dragons of
Power, Dragons of Light,
Lend me
your magic, lend me your aid,
Continue chanting until you feel the crystal is fully charged, then place it back on the altar.
Step
4: Extend your arms toward the perimeter of your circle and
"grab" hold of it. With
your mind, draw the circle inward as you pull your arms into your body.
As the circle's edge approaches the altar, visualize a vortex of energy
forming above the crystal. "See"
the energy of the circle being drawn into the crystal and being stored there. When all of the circle's energy has been drawn into the
crystal, visualize the substance of the crystal forming a seal over the point of
entry and say:
Now
is the crystal sealed and this circle stored.
So shall it remain until it is needed for protection or defense.
If such a time should come to pass let the crystal be opened and the
circle released by the speaking of a word, and let that word be ________.
This word should be one that is unique enough that you will not say it by accident, but also one which you will be able to remember easily (this is the hard part). Thank your Quarter guardians, and your companions for allowing you to store a portion of their energies. When you are not carrying the crystal with you, it should be stored in a safe location.
