Crystal Magic

The crystals listed here were chosen for their ease of availability, and relatively inexpensive prices.  Some such as Citrine, Clear Quartz and Garnet can be used to substitute for more expensive gems.

Crystal Magical Uses
Amber Healing, money, protection, luck, strength, increased magical effectives, strengthens the life-force
Amethyst Increase psychic awareness, protection, enhances mental powers, healing
Bloodstone Health and healing, legal matters, money, healthy pregnancy 
Citrine Protection, increased psychic awareness, helps prevent nightmares, can substitute for Topaz 
Clear Quartz Universal "all-purpose" stone, amplifies magical effectiveness, rebalances energies, helps ward off illness, protection, can substitute for all other stones including diamonds
Fluorite  Helps improve memory and analytical abilities, calms emotions
Garnet Protection, healing, strength, courage, romance, can substitute for Ruby
Hematite Mental focus, stabilizing energies, grounding, prevents mental distractions 
Malachite  Protective magic (especially concerning children), guards against negative influences and physical dangers, brings tranquility and restful sleep
Rose Quartz Promotes peace and happiness, attracts love, helps calm anger
Tiger's Eye Money, courage, strength, energy, aids divination, attracts luck 

Some suggested uses for these crystals are:  

1) Placed in appropriately colored bags and carried as magical sachets or charms;

2) Placed around windows and door to prevent unwelcome energies from entering you home;

3) Buried at the for corners of you yard to protect your property further;

4) Worn as jewelry or placed in a magical pouch along with other spell items and carried with you as a charm or talisman.
