The Clan of the Dragon's Oath of Service

As a follower of the
Draconic Tradition, I pledge the following in the names of my Gods and all
Dragon Kind.... May they bear witness to this, my solemn Oath:
I vow I will use the
teachings and rituals of the Draconic Tradition only to bring
honor to my Gods, provide for the betterment and safeguarding of myself and my
Clan, or work to preserve balance and harmony.
I will do whatever I
can to bring knowledge of and respect for all Dragons back to the world, even if
I must do so in subtle and secret ways. For I know well that all
beneficial energy and works need no fanfare to be effective.
In all things I will
strive to do no harm lest it be in the defense of the helpless, the innocent, my
family, my Clan or my person.
To these ends, in the practice of the Draconic tradition, I will put aside fear
and ignorance and
strive for courage and wisdom.
Should I ever
knowingly forsake this Oath, may my Gods turn their faces from me; May my Dragon
allies depart from me and never return unless I can find away to redeem my shame
and reclaim my honor.
