She storms into Will's bathroom and turns off the radio. She leads him into her bathroom, saying that she can't handle the lack of space anymore, "my hair doesn't even fit in here!" Grace coerces Will into opening her bathroom cabinet, he does and half its contents fall out. He agrees that something should be done and that they will come up with a solution that evening.
The S Word
Jack suggests that since Grace's bathroom is to small even for Malibu Barbie and that Will should share his bathroom with her, then he gasps, declaring, "oh my god! I think that's the first time I've used the words 'Will' and 'share' in the same sentence without 'doesn't know how to' in between!" Will looks confused, so Jack tells him that he's no good at sharing in his relationships because he's a "control-freak nightmare."
Will rejects the idea. Grace backs off, claiming she was "blinded by the faucets" and makes a few remarks about knowing how little he likes change. Will then agrees to the idea, professing that saying 'no' is a knee-jerk reaction that he needs to snap out of, he tells Grace to go ahead with the conversion.
Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Ass(istant)?
Grace takes Karen's hand and leads her to the design table. She holds up a blue print of a design for the bathroom and tells a nervous looking Karen that when she's finished the drawing she needs it copied and sent to a few people. Hesitantly Karen asks, "you mean - like... the... contractor?" Excitedly, Grace declares "Yes! Yes! That is exactly right - my god - I feel like the miracle worker!" She takes Karen's hand and holds it to her cheek as she says, "good Karen, good!"
Regaining her confidence, Karen asks who this "doodle" is for. Grace explains it's for her and Will. Karen thinks she's insane for trying to share a bathroom with the person she is living with, warning that it's a mistake and will end in disaster.
Saturday Morning Fever
The following morning... Will and Grace are in the bathroom getting ready for work. Grace is plucking her eyebrows maniacally while Will squirms as he watched her, asking "what are you clear-cutting?!" Grace tells him it's what she usually does and that he has to get used to it.
Will goes to leave the bathroom, but Grace tells him to just do what he normally does. He agrees, turns on the radio and 'busts some moves' as he puts on shaving foam. Grace watches in horror. Will notices and turns the radio off, he asks what's wrong. Grace replies "we're just fifty men and a mirror ball away from a gay disco."
The Walker Redemption
Grace gets her to stop and asks Karen for a cup of coffee. Karen thanks Grace, saying she's already had coffee, then realises that Grace wants one, Karen doesn't know where the coffee is, exclaiming, "I need an assistant!"
Grace gets her own coffee, catching sight of herself in the mirror she sighs, "oh my god, I'm the cat in the hat!" Then admits that Will is driving her crazy over the bathroom, but she plans on riding it out until he eventually gets used to it. Karen points out that Grace is not a guest at the apartment but Will's roommate, "so start taking up some room!" She advises Grace to let her presence be felt in the apartment, then slumps exhaustedly into the chair at her desk, proclaiming "I am assisting my ass off!"
Mr. Bitch Goes To Washington
Annoyed, Will pushes Jack away from the intercom, telling him to stay away from his stuff and out of his space. Jack says that Will meant to "bark" that at Grace and not him. Will protests, claiming that he and Grace are fine, Jack disagrees and Will gives him an earful about how irresponsible he is.
There's No Place Like Someone Else's Home
Will answers it, it's Harlin. He gives Grace a bunch of flowers, Grace asks Will where she should put them, he tells her anywhere, "yeah right!" She replies. They are all seated, Will and Grace at opposite ends of the sofa, looking peeved, while Harlin sits in the chair. Harlin thanks them for inviting him as he is usually stuck in hotels. Picking up on the tension, he makes small talk.
Grace excuses herself, when she's gone Harlin asks "Will, are you sure you're gay? 'Cause this felt exactly like a night between me and the Mrs!"
All's Well That Bends Well
Will tells her that he hates the bathroom, but loves her. Grace says that the wall is going back up. Will proposes that they move the wall four feet, that way they'll have equal bathroom space. Impressed with his ability to compromise, Grace teases him, then pulls him into the bath with her.

Summary:
Bathroom Not Included
It's morning, Will is in his bathroom 'busting some moves' to the radio as he shaves. In the smaller bathroom next door, Grace is attempting to shave her legs and yelling at Will through the wall, but he can't hear her.
Jack forces his way into Will's office, Will has promised to help him update his resume. But, the only real decision Jack has made about his future is that he wants the font of his resume to be 'hallavetica'. Jack asks Will to take him out to lunch. Will can't because he wants to buy shelves for Grace's bathroom.
Sooner Or Later The 'Decorating Rush' Is Going To Get You
Will arrives home with shelves, Grace looks amazed "this is your solution to my space problem - you wanna bring the walls in closer?!" Will decides to return the shelves. Grace then excitedly tells him her solution - she wants to knock down the dividing wall between the two bathrooms and make one big bathroom. She shows him some catalogues and throws ideas at him, getting a "decorating rush" in all the excitement.
At Grace's studio, Grace staggers as she carries rolls of material, while Karen sits at her desk leafing idly through a catalogue, briefly stopping to inform Grace, "oh honey, your skirt's hiking up." Grace off loads the material and tells Karen that she has a great deal of affection for her, but that she needs to become a better assistant. Karen looks miffed. Grace tells her to put the catalogue down, "you have everything in it!"
Will arrives home to find the wall dividing the two bathrooms has been partially removed. Grace is excited, Will doesn't look happy.
Grace arrives at work wearing a big blue hat. Karen is sat at her desk and immediately squints her eyes as if to protect them from the offensive sight of Grace's hat, pointing loosely in the direction of the hat she asks "Grace, sweetie - what's that?" Grace explains that she didn't have time to dry her hair. Karen squirms in her seat, pulling faces as she realises Grace is going to wear it all day. She stands, throws her bag over her shoulder, announcing "I say we close, you're obviously in no condition to work!" And heads for the door.
At Will's office he and Jack are going over Jack's resume. Will is moaning about Grace's habits, Jack returns his attention to the resume. Will starts on his issues with Grace again. Jack tries to work out what his "essence" is, finding it difficult, he presses Will's intercom and asks the secretary to "bring in a couple of cola's and some of those blue pills."
Will arrives at the apartment, he has invited Harlin over for drinks, Grace has prepared the cheese dish Will asked her to, but it is not to his specifications. As he goes to change his clothes he notices that Grace has added a pillow to the sofa and various ornaments about the room, he gets tetchy and tells her that from now on "all pillows and food need to be cleared through me!" Will then tries to back off, Grace tells him she's not Michael and that he can't switch her off. A knock at the door interrupts them.
Grace is having a bubble bath, Will walks into the bathroom and tells her that he doesn't think their living together is going to work out. Grace accuses him of bailing. Will confesses that he's not, he's just scared that if he can't make it work with her then what chance does he have in a romantic relationship? Grace tells him that he's putting too much pressure on their situation, "how did we get from me having a place to plug in my hot rollers to the demise of all your future relationships?"
KAREN: Gay, straight, bi, Tai - they don't like change.
JACK: Women! Can't live with them... End of sentence.
GRACE: Hey, Kare - just FYI - the first three letters in assistant spell 'ass', so please get off yours!
