Back at Will's, he tells Jack and Grace that one of them has to leave his apartment. He leaves them to decide which one will go. Will spends the time at shopping for sweaters and runs into Karen. He starts to tell her about Grace and Jack, but the minute he says Jack's name, Karen gets mad. Will tells her that what Jack did is just a typical Jack thing and Karen agrees.
In the hall, Jack runs into Karen. She apologizes, but Jack doesn't accept. Just when it seems the two will never get along, Grace cuts across to get her stuff from Jack's apartment and trips over something in the door. Karen and Jack both crack up, then stop when they realize the other is laughing. They try to keep straight faces, but eventually start swapping funny stories. Finally they hug, admitting that they've missed each other, and they leave hand-in-hand to go shopping.
Quotes Did You Notice... Back to Season Three
Summary: Grace runs to Will's apartment for help after her apartment is the target of an attempted break-in. Too scared to sleep alone in her apartment, she spends the night at Will's. The next morning, Will realizes that he is now stuck living with both Jack and Grace.
Over at work, Grace tells an uninterested Karen about the previous night. Her worries are put on hold when Jack enters and he and Karen, who've been mad at each other since he tried to sue her, get into a fight.
When Will returns home, he finds that Grace and Jack have decided that Grace will move back to her place and Jack will stay with Will. After a second of contemplating this new arrangement, Will comes up with a better plan: Grace stays in his apartment and Jack moves into Grace's old place. Jack happily agrees.
