Summary: Grace is excited to be training a young intern, Gillian, in the ways of interior designing, and Gillian seems equally excited to be working with Grace. She beings to emulate Grace, right down to the way she dresses, much to the confusion of Karen.

Meanwhile, Will and Jack prepare to act out a dramatization of gay-sensitivity for the police department with two lesbians, Terry and Annie, but Jack acts increasingly rude to them as they rehearse. Will convinces Jack that he is being challenged as an actor and Jack does better.

But before the performance at the police station, Will gets ticked off with Jack's 'lesbian-friendly' character and tells him to drop it. He does and promptly insults the women. They walk out and Jack and Will get in a fight, calling each other names and eventually attacking each other, all in front of the cops.

After they're pulled apart, one of the cops compliments them on how he realizes now that he has used some of those names they called each other before and is now going to try to stop.

Meanwhile, Gillian spends time with Karen and decides it's better to emulate her, and she takes on her look and personality, much to Grace's chagrin. Karen sees that Grace is upset by this and convinces Gillian to go back to working and acting like Grace

Did You Notice...
~"Will & Grace" cocreator Max Mutchnick admits he messed up in the presentation of the two lesbians in this episode by showing them as fashion-challenged women who were made fun of by Jack. He says in editing the show, he removed the resason why the two don't like Jack (they caught him stealing twine from their kite shop). He says he's recutting the show for syndication to include that line.
