Later that night while out at "Suessical the Musical" with her boyfriend, Grace runs into a surprised George and his date, a "colleague" named Tina. Grace immediately suspects George of having an affair and tells Will. Will, though, denies it, and to prove it, invites George and Tina to stay for dinner on Friday.

Will warns Grace not to bring up the subject of the affair, and she is forced to sit through an awkward dinner discussing the weather. But eventually she cracks and goes into the hall, crying. Tina joins her.

Finally, Will's dad tells him how disappointed he is that Will didn't tell him off for having an affair. Will comes clean and tells his dad how hurt he is. George then promises to tell Will's mother.

Meanwhile, when Stan misses his and Karen's annual date that month, she becomes suspiscious. When Grace subtley brings up the subject of George's affair, Karen assumes that Grace saw Stan with another woman and sets out with Jack to catch Stan in the act. She gets Jack to join her for a night in the limo, following Stan.

After a night of spying on her husband and seeing nothing, Karen storms upstairs and confronts Grace, who is sitting in the hallway with Tina. Karen demands to know who "he" is having the affair with and Grace, thinking Karen means George, indicates to Tina. Karen yells at Tina, but when Grace realizes who Karen is talking about and clears up the confussion, Karen immediately calms down and leaves.
