Summary: Will is told by his poker buddies to get Grace to quit playing poker with them, as she is terrible at it. But when he does tell her, she begs him to let her play one more game and surprises everyone by getting a winning streak. When Will asks her about it during a break, she admits that she's cheating. She lost some saphire jewellery while she was losing in another game and wants to win it back. She tells Will a troubling story of how the jewelery belonged to her grandmother, which she got from her best friend.

Will agrees not to reveal her secret, but when he learns that Grace's story is completely false, he threatens to tell the guys, but Grace threatens to say that he was in on it. So Will once again goes back to the game, hiding Grace's secret.

But when he wins a game against Rob, Rob accuses Will of cheating and the two get into a fight. Grace, horrified at what she's seeing, confesses about cheating and agrees to quit playing with them. The guys then reveal that the whole thing was a set-up to get Grace to quit.

Meanwhile, Karen considers having her shoulders done, but isn't sure how they would look. So she and Jack scheme to convince one of Karen's friends to undergo the surgery as a guinea pig to the new product.

As the two wait in the hospital, Karen wonders about what she's done and worries about her friend. But when she sees her friend, not only does she look good, but she informs Karen that she has taken the last set of shoulders and Karen will have to make due with the older model.

WILL: "Funny, it just makes me feel sleepy."
----

KAREN: "Well, well. Candy Pruitt, as I live and drink."

----

JACK: "Once I saw on Dateline that this guy went in for a fungus under his fingernail and he came back with no limbs. Luckily, he was ugly, so it wasn't that sad."
----

KAREN: "Honey, you know I'm a little psychic. Remember when I predicted that Driver was gonna lose his job, and then two days later I fired him?"
JACK: "My God, you're right. And that time you predicted that Rosario was gonna fall, and then you pushed her down the stairs."
KAREN: "Yeah."
JACK: "You're scaring me, Karen. It's like you have ESPN."
----

GRACE: "Oh, what's so unbelievable? I was cheating. Is it such a big leap to lying?"

----

KAREN: "Can the salesgirls at Barney's be right? Am I a bad person?"
----

WILL: "In this house, a queen beats a straight every time."

Did You Notice...
~In "Dateline"'s Golden Globes interview with the cast, this was the script the cast was seen reading in the behind-the-scenes clips. "Dateline" is later mentioned by Jack in this episode.
~Will & Grace and Jack & Karen have no scenes with each other for this episode.
~This first and last lines of this episode are both puns of the card terms "straight" and "queen".
