Summary: It's city-council election season and Will convinces Grace to back the gay candidate. Despite knowing nothing about his political beliefs, they both decide to support him. That is, until Grace descovers there's a Jewish woman running and changes whom she's supporting. The two friends hold a fund raiser at their apartment where they hear the candidates discuss their beliefs and realize they don't agree with either of them.
Meanwhile, Jack is upset because Karen and Elliot don't get along with each other. Because they're so close to him, he leaves Elliot at Karen's place until the two can work out their problems. At first it seems a long shot, but the two bond over prank phonecalls to Rosario and Phil Donahue and Jack is delighted.
