Summary: While working out at the gym, Will notices a man he remembers as Mitchell, his one-time fling from a few years ago, which makes him feel bad for what he did to him. But all that is forgotten when Will meets a hot guy, Curt, and sets up a date.
Jack is less then concerned with Will's great news, though. Jack has been trying to get his phrase, "Stake it!" to become a catch phrase at the gym, but overhears a personal trainer using it and is shocked that she would steal it from him. When he comes up with a new phrase, the trainer takes this one, too.
Meanwhile, Karen offers to loan Grace the money she needs to purchase the office space next to her office to expand her work. But there's a catch: Grace needs to present Karen with a presentation. Thinking she's sure to get the money, Grace does so, and is more than surprised when Karen denies her the money.
Karen leaves to go to lunch, but the elevator gets stuck and she finds herself trapped. When she asks Grace for help, Grace decides to pay Karen pack and leaves her alone in the elevator for several hours. When Grace returns, she and Karen finally talk about why Karen did what she did. Karen tells Grace all she knows about what expanding the business would mean, which is a lot more than Grace knows, and Karen says she just didn't want to crush Grace's dreams. Grace is touched and lets her assistant out of the elevator, only to be grabbed by Karen and flung into the elevator to think about what she did.
Back at the gym, it's been a week since Will's date with Curt and Will still hasn't heard from him. Jack tells Will that it's because Curt's avoiding him, just as Will avoided Mitchell. Will admits that Jack is right and he arrives at the gym later that day to confront Curt. Curt tells Will that he was avoiding him because he'd just been through a breakup and wasn't sure he could handle more than one night. Will is upset, but decides to apologize to Mitchell, now that he knows how bad it must feel.
Mitchell accepts Will's apology and tells Will that he's actually been dating someone for a few years, though they did go through a bit of a breakup, but are now back together. Mitchell then calls Curt over and the three realize just how connected they all are.

KAREN: No. Honey, I'm watching these burly movers clear out the office next door.
GRACE: They're moving out? I've always wanted that space. Have they rented it yet? Is it still available?
KAREN: I don't know. [YELLING OUT THE DOOR] You move that desk, bitch!
