Summary: The show starts with Will and Grace in the coffee shop, Jack and Karen join them at the table (after Karen asks the waiter for "a bit of raw meat and some water"). Karen then reveals that it's not for her, but for Lorraine's dog Chompers - The Earl of Puppydom. Jack and Karen found Chompers hiding in the back of Stan's closet living off of little peices of turkey in Stan's trouser cuffs. Karen is looking to get rid of him cause he reminds her of Lorraine ("she used to sit on the couch and chew her ass too"). Grace then reveals that the other day Leo ran into his ex-girlfriend, and Grace, being the cool wife she is suggests that Leo invite her over for a dinner party, and she tells Will, Jack, and Karen they are invited too. Karen and Jack are happy about this, until they find out that Grace has NO problem with the ex factor. (Grace admits that she hopes she has big ears and buck teeth.. just a little bit).

Leo is happy that Diane and Grace are getting along, he was worried that Grace would be jealous that he used to be with such a pretty, funny, just all around great girl. Grace just adores her, especially after Diane, a Fashion Editor at Vogue, gives her a Hermes Birken handbag. Grace is okay, then Will, Jack, and Karen arrive and it is found out that Diane, Leo's Ex is also THE Diane, the only woman Will had ever slept with. It was just about then that Grace has a problem with Diane, clutching her chest and exclaiming "OH...MY...GOD!!".

The dinner party continues, Will apologizes to Diane for never calling her, and Karen asks Diane if she wants to make out. Diane responds "Let's see how the night goes." They all go into the dining room to eat, and Grace is giving both Will and Diane major attitude, telling Diane that she is ruining everything. Leo is hurt because Grace is jealous over Will's one night stand with Diane, but not his long term relationship with Diane. Will insists that the reason he did it with her is because he didn't love her and he emphasizes that "IT MEANT NOTHING TO ME" - that makes Diane jump up and exclaim - "Well, it meant something to me!!" Then she reveals that sex with Will was the only time she has ever orgasmed. Leo overhears this and is upset. Now, Grace is okay, Diane is upset about Will's nochalance regarding their drunken night together, Will is haughty cause he found out that he was better in bed than Leo, Karen is flirting with Diane, and Jack is soaking up the drama.

Will apologizes to Diane, finding out that the one night with him has made her a basket case for the last 15 years. Karen is happy because Diane is upset, so I guess that makes it easier for her to make her move. Jack follows to see if Diane has an emotionally disturbed brother with the same legs. Will and Leo have words about Will's heterosexual prowess after Will tells Grace "Well, maybe it's better off you didn't take a ride on the 'Truman Train'" to which Leo responds "Train?? You only had one passenger!"

Will retorts back by saying "Yeah, but at least she got off". Leo goes to comfort Diane and Grace stops him saying "No, you're mine" which makes Leo happy since that is what he was striving for the entire night. In the end, Diane, Karen and Jack are on the couch and Karen presents Chompers to Diane, who tearfully exclaims "I'll call him Will!"

Did You Notice...
~The first time we saw Diane (in Lows In The Mid-Eighties), she was played by writer's assistant Lisa Borgnes.
~Chompers is a teacup poodle, and is not Megan Mullally's dog in real life.
