What was the incident with "tamale" all about?
In the 2nd season premiere episode, "Guess Who's Not Coming to Dinner", during a typical fight with Rosario, one of Karen's lines went "You're on the clock, tamale!". Certain ethnic groups complained about that word and it was quickly edited so that Karen said "honey" instead. But in later repeats of that episode, the word "tamale" wasn't edited out, as the creators felt they overreacted

How come the show is called "Will & Grace" but the jokes and stories seem to be focused mainly on Jack and Karen? (Submitted by Mike)
Near the beginning of the show, the writers realized how much the audience love the characters of Jack and Karen, so it may have appeared earlier in the show's history that the jokes and stories focused mainly on the two supporting characters. However, as the show has matured, the jokes and stories have expanded to include all the cast.

How do they get shots of the characters on the streets and restaurants of New York when it's filmed in California? (Submitted by Lacey)
In most episodes, the scenes supposedly taking place in New York are actually sets built for certain scenes. However, in the episode "Acting Out", the cast and crew actually went to New York to film the outdoor scenes.

"Will & Grace" officially ended it's run May 18th, though it can still be seen in syndication on a number of channels.
