Short Biography
Aside from Will & Grace, my world also revolves around music. I don't know how I got this crazy about it, but it is a huge part of my every day life. I do hope to become a singer/songwriter when I get older. I love songwriting, and I love playing the guitar. I can not get through my day without listening to or playing music. I usually listen to singer/songwriters, and I look up to most of them (like Jill Sobule, Beth Hart, Joni Mitchell, the Indigo Girls).
I also love to read poetry (I guess you could call me one of those artsy, bohemian types). My favorite poet is Edna St. Vincent Millay (my current favorite poem is one she wrote, Souvenir), and I also like the work of Sylvia Plath, Langston Hughes, Marge Piercy, and Robert Pinsky. I grew very fond of independent films, and that's usually the kind of movie I watch now (which is a little hard if I want to see one that's out in theaters. Living in a small town in Pennsylvania, there's maybe one indie film theater, and they only show about two films).
I have two pets: One cat named Cody (who is pictured below), and one hamster named ShuShu Fontana. Cody is such a sweetheart, and loves to cuddle with my mom and me. He usually likes to sleep on my bed with me, either laying against me, or curled up somewhere on the other side of my bed. ShuShu just loves to run around in her hamster ball. I love animals, and I'm one of those people who watch a movie where there's a human and an animal in a dangerous situation, and they only care about the animal getting out safely.
I have had the privilege of meeting and spending the day with my favorite singer, Jill Sobule, for my 14th brithday. She agreed to let me shadow her for a career project I had to do for school. It was one of the best days, if not the best day, of my life. I’ve also had the privilege of meeting Megan Mullally briefly after a performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., and Jim Boggia and Erin McKeown at a music festival in Camden, New Jersey.
