The OICW is the Army's latest Infantry weapon. Its too complex, weighs too much and can't do anything existing weapons cannot. It would be more cost effective to have more and better training with existing weapons than reinvent the wheel.

Operation Black Flag
The remains of over 2,000 American Servicemen never returned from Southeast Asia. They are listed as "Missing In Action" (MIA). There are many veterans and patriotic citizens who have never forgotten these veterans' and their families' sacrifices. While most are probably dead, there are a number of "descrepency cases" in which the MIA in question was last known to be alive and in captivity. Operation Black Flag calls upon both the United States and Vietnamese governments for a full accounting of all POW's and MIA's.
