In a Hannibal newsletter I received, I found the following article:

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Julianne Moore still has not come to terms
with the gruesome aspect of her role opposite Sir Anthony Hopkins
in "Hannibal," the long-awaited sequel to 1991 thriller "The Silence
of the Lambs" that opens Friday.
"I actually talked to my shrink about it," Moore said in an interview
in the March issue of Vanity Fair. "As a parent, as a person -- what
is this? "Hannibal is the dark side that is part of everyone... We are
socialized, civilized, but in our fantasy lives we explore those themes.
That's okay, but it's a fine line I feel uncomfortable with. I don't want
to sound as if I'm sitting here rationalizing violence," Moore told the
magazine. Moore said her apprehensions had to do with the nature
of the "Hannibal" script's violence.
"I am pretty careful about violence, but eventually I came to feel
that this story was fable-like. This is a film about good and evil
coming up against each other... But it's psychologically horrifying,"
she said.

I have to admit I'm very excited with all those Hannibal promotional
stuff and all these magazines that feature Julianne! I'm glad she's
finally getting the coverage she deserves! Let's see...This February
she's in the cover of Premiere, Entertainment Weekly, Cinefantastique,
not to mention the amazing pics and articles the rest of the magazines
(Total Movie, Empire, Wicked) feature inside!
I wish I could promise that the transcripts and pictures of these mags
will be available in this page soon, but I can't. Considering where I live,
I'll be extremely lucky if I find the Premiere mag alone! :(
