Salubrious Verbiage

I have recently stared the hobby of bo-fighting. I went to Home Depot last week and purchased some PVC pipe, which I then sawed into four 4-foot long sections and gave one to each of my three roomates. They are geeting pretty good at fending off my attacks. My knuckles are bloody. Maybe I'll take up knitting next.

I wonder if anyone checks this thing anymore. I have recently taken a new found interest in journaling. Right now I am a Religious Studies/Spanish double major at Rhodes College. This is my senior year. Life is good. I eat a lot of bacon. I love bacon.

There may be some changes made to this website in the next few months. So, if you're tired of the same old content for over two years, be ready for some HTML action.

Come see MONA!

"The full story behind the Independence Day Massacre? Well, I was kind of sick of watching these heathen Americans celebrate the birth of the Great Satan, and the Uzi was just kind of sitting there, so..."

Wow. It feels little awkward to be journaling for the first times since last August. I'm feeling nostalgic and sentimental. As if journaling in my webpage were somthing that I could not return to, like childhood. Nevertheless, here I am, trying to be a genuine as possible. I'm still working for IDI. My year at Rhodes was, of course, amazing and life changing. My big theater project for the summer is called MONA! a historical farce. I have a wonderful girlfriend in Birmingham. My life feels ordered, mature. It is a good feeling, but the calmness that I described last year has only increased. I'm working harder than I ever have in my life, but I feel peaceful.

It feels good to journal again. I hope someone is reading this.

Rhodes college has treated me wonderfully so far. I want to give a shout-out to all of the new friends that I have made here and all the old friends that are still at home (or another college). My new E-mail address at Rhodes is jenja@rhodes.edu, or you can reach me, as always, at jnkees@never-ever.net. Untill we meet again...

Eight years ago, Park met Jason during a production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Jason was cast as an everlasting gobstopper, and Park, well, he was cast as Charlie. Ever since then the two cut-ups have been best friends. They have been known to impersonate Matt Damon (well, Park does), ride mechanical horses, and take nomadic adventures. They have been in roughly 13 productions together over the past few years, and they now have started their own theater company. During the last two busy months the duo has launched what they believe to be an innovative and experimental production.

So began the director's notes from The POE Project. I am completly ecstatic at the tremendous success of the show. In other news, summer is coming to a close. I leave for Rhodes on the sixteenth.

Opening night for the POE project was wonderful. I am so proud of my actors. Thank you to every one who came and everyone involved. I'm sorry that I can't update this page as much as I like, but I spend the entire day in front of a computer at IDI. I may soon have some evenings free again now that rehearsals have stopped. Who know what that may lead to?

My site is one year old today. I would like to update my site, but I really don't have the time right now. I noticed that almost all of my friend's sites have had major surgery in the past few weeks. I really like what you guys have done, and yes, I do read all of your blogs.

Happy Father's day.

There was a storm today. Thunder roared, and lightning stole the electricity from my house. My dog ran to me and sat at my feet crying. She was shaking violently. I got down from my chair and held her in my arms. I ran my fingers through her hair and told her everything was all right. My dog, still terrified, looked at me and stopped trembling. She knows only two things: unconditional love and a fear of God. I have much to learn.
