Freed-Shoes made in England that provides a stronger shank and more support.

Gamba-Comes in a number of different styles and are mostly softer shanks.
Grishko-Russian shoes that are quiet, light, with fiberboard shank
Gynor Minden-Shoes that uses elastomerics instead of glued canvas which makes them very durable.
