Bio and martial arts background

Before he was 21, he was the first African-American to master Eskrima, the Philipine art of stick-fighting.
After years of studying, training, teaching, and serving as a bodyguard Master Sultan Uddin became a fighting consultant for Hollywood action movies.

Called to the Mortal Kombat 2; Annihilation-set he noticed the makers didn't know of Eskrima and Capoeira, which is another of his specialties. Master Sultan Uddin knew how to make Capoeira flow with other arts, and got a role for the movie, in which he showed those skills. The producers were so impressed, they wanted him for the series and games as well.

Now he's working to bring the movie industry to Oakland. Master Uddin is also the founder of IESA: International Eskrima Serrada Association. Master Uddin is also important to the world of martial arts, with an 8th degree black belt and the Professor title. Master Uddin teaches anyone anywhere in several other systems. One of which is the Soke-system, which he founded.
