Photo 1 Codd bottle embossed “THE BRITISH / AERATED / WATER CO.” The reverse side (near base) is embossed “FLUGEL / LONDON”, whereas the base is embossed “F. & CO. LONDON.” Aqua in colour, 19.2 cm in height. The rarity of bottles from this company with this style of embossing suggests that they were only produced for a brief period, possibly around 1912, the year the company opened.
Photo 2 Codd bottles embossed “THE BRITISH AERATED WATER COMPANY.” Reverse side near base embossed “A. ALEXANDER & CO. / LEEDS AND LONDON.” Aqua in color, 21.5 cm and 18.5 cm in height.
