First Blood
Rambo is an ex-Green beret who served in Vietnam for 4 years. Still haunted by memories of Vietnam, John was about to visit his friend, ex-team mate, Delmare Berry but hears that he died of cancer. John Rambo is upset and starts to roam around. While roaming around he enters a town called Hope where he gets into trouble with a small-town sheriff called Will Teasle. Rambo asks Teasle if there is a place to eat and Teasle answers that there is a Highway restaurant 50 km on from Hope. Rambo does not understand why he is not allowed to eat in Hope and Teasle reveals his opinion that he dislikes guys like Rambo, before dropping him off at the border of the town. John Rambo knows that the sheriff is mistreating him and walks back into town. He then gets arrested for vagrancy and for concealling a weapon. In the police department they are about to interogate John Rambo but he refuses to say anything. They mistreat him and when the deputies are about to shave him all hell breaks loose. John Rambo fights his way out through several police men. He escapes from the Police Station and steals an motorbike to ride off to the woods.... there he will need all his old skills to fight his pursuers which number 200 men including a National Guardsman Batallion.


Rambo : First Blood part II
After the war he couldn't win , Rambo was sent to jail for what he has done. His friend and mentor colonel Trautman drops by to see Rambo and gives him a chance to get out of jail whenever he could. He claims that there are still missing soldiers ( POW's ) in Vietnam, and wants Rambo to go there. After a while , Rambo agrees and leaves jail. He meets Murdock , his new commander and gets orders to photograph the area only and not to rescue the POW's.
They drop him off in Vietnam and there he meets Co Bao, his co-op partner. She guides him to Vietnam and they actually rescue one POW. While escaping, Rambo and Boa split up and in meantime the Vietnam soldiers hunt them down. Rambo and the unidentified POW climb up a hill and a USA helicopter shows up to pick up Rambo. The helicopters sends message to Headquarters that Rambo has found an POW and Murdock gives immediatly orders to come back and leave Rambo behind.
The helicopter returns and leaves Rambo behind in Vietnam, abandoned by his country. He is captured and tortured but Co Boa rescues him and together they escape. After they escaped they rest out and Co Boa reveals her love for Rambo. While they continue to move on , Co Boa gets shot and dies. Rambo gets mad and declared war again on Vietnam and is determined to rescue the POW's.


Rambo III
John Rambo spends his live further in a Buddha monastery to find inner peace. He also collects extra money by winning stickfights. One day his friend Samuel Trautman visits him together with some government guys. Trautman is about to do a mission in Afghanistan and wants Rambo to join him. Rambo refuses the mission because he doesn't want to fight anymore, he wants peace. Trautman tells Rambo an little story and then leaves. Trautman gets captured and when Rambo hears about Trautman's capture he decides to free his best friend. Together with allies from afghanistan he takes on the Soviet army including Spetznaz commando's and the evil soviet commander Zaysen.
