I'M ASKING FOR YOUR VOTE.

The Republicans in DuPage County represent us by increasing our taxes and supporting mediocre, high-cost education. Let's throw them out and start getting our money back (as Lou Reed said, "Put a fork into them and turn them over. They're done.")

WILL YOU HELP ME?

I'm not a professional politician. I've never held a government job. I'm a resident of DuPage, a homeowner, a taxpayer, a mom. I don't have a massive political machine to back me up (nor am I beholden to one). But I will represent the 42nd District better than our past Republican Representatives or my current opponents by:

  1. supporting family values, life, and 2nd and 9th Amendment rights;
  2. supporting choice in education;
  3. supporting tax cuts, opposing tax increases, and calling for government accountability;
  4. supporting the elimination of personal income tax;

I do not believe that a government agency can care for our families better than we can.

The people who want to make anti-gun laws seem to forget that the bad guys don't obey the laws! I believe we would all be safer if criminals knew that law-abiding citizes had the means to defend themselves. An incident similar to Columbine was avaided because an assistant principal had his own firearm, stored off-site, which he retrieved in time to thwart the shooters. Let law-abiding citizens carry guns and crime will go down.

I believe a human being is a human being from the very beginning to the very end of existence; I don't believe government has the right to authorize one group of human beings to end the lives of another group of human beings.

  1. I have lived in Downers Grove for 16 years with my husband and daughter
  2. I earned an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellog School of Business (Imagine applying sound business principles to our state budget!)
  3. I have a B.A. from Smith College and an M.A. in music from Northeastern University (Can our state government use some independent, creative thinkers?
  4. I am a Christian, and fully support parental rights and responsiblities, the pursuit of life, and the principles embodied in the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights

What is a Repucrat?

The Power Parties in Illinois, Republicans and Democrats, are indistinguishable. Both parties work to maintian their power, and fill the coffers of their cronies. Don't throw away your vote by voting for these parties. The Power Parties have increased our tax burden and eroded our rights passed the point at which our nation's founders rebelled.
