Welcome to Borgie's
Desktop. . . Uhh. . . sure looks like one but does it function like one? Well
I've tried my best and my best probably is not the greatest. I wanted to include
selectable tasks from the taskbar but I guess it's just too much. The icons
cannot be dragged at this time, although I'm trying to work around the initial
scripts that conflict with the ones I wanted to implement. Although the windows
that pop out are draggable, you're limited to open one window at a time. This
was achieved when I found a script that proves that you can insert an IFRAME
into a layer. The contents of the window is actually another HTML file loaded
in the IFRAME. With all regards, I give all credit to the genius that made this
possible, although I have to admit I had to tweak the code to suit my needs.
I'm sorry to say that I've cut off the credits to save loading time, I already
have 500+ lines of code to deal with. To those who are curious as to what the
hell I was talking about, go here
to find out for yourself. Like a normal window this will close when you double-click
on the "X" button (the one that doesn't belong to IE). Navigation
throughout the site works just as your Windows start button works. Well, that's
almost self explanatory. Please forgive me if the graphics in this site suck,
I'm new in the "gel/light/transparency" concept, after all I've used
programs only your grandma (or granddah) would remember.
