(More Ground Zero Games Ships)

A Sa'Vasku ship -- a cruiser, I think. I don't actually own the second Fleet Book yet. I gave these miniatures a gloss finish, which doesn't scan too well but looks very nice in person.

A "Drone Carrier" and some very blurry drones. The drones are mounted on paperclip wire, and attached to a GW flying stand that I cut short. Thanks for the idea, Beth!

Well, this picture came out a lot better than I expected it to.... This is a Neu-Swabian League battledreadnought. It's a really simple paint scheme -- this is probably the reason that I have such a large NSL fleet painted. The checkerboard pattern on the flight deck was created with a decal; again, I'm just not good enough to do something like that by hand.

NSL again. This time, a battlecruiser. There's really not much more to day about this one.

This ship requires a bit of explanation. This is actually a Fortress Figures miniature that I have painted and modified for use with my NSL ships. What I am using as the front of the ship was originally the back; I had to remove the oversized engine port, file the area flat, and then add a number of thin plastic pieces to give it some texture. The other end was also filed flat, and I added a thin plastic ring to serve as the new engine. This was all made easier by the fact that the plastic is very soft and easy to work with. The resulting ship isn't perfect, but it blends in quite well with the rest of my NSL fleet.

A Federal Stats Europa battleship. Yet another quick and dirty paint scheme (prime black, drybrush with lots and lots of light gray) that has allowed me to paint up a LOT of ships. The FSE ships were the first GZG fleet that I owned -- because of a Dirtside II demo that I helped run at a Chessex open house far too many years ago. Thanks, K.R.!

The biggest ship that GZG produces, this is an FSE "fleet carrier". Yes, it's awfully big. I just hope that I never drop it on a concrete floor.

I've got a handful of other ships that I'd like to post pictures of, but this'll be it for a while -- I need to redo some of my other pages first.
