Practices have begun in preparation for the battle in Killeen. But first things first: on the slate for the coming school year are the following meets: October 27/ St.Amant, La: Fall Classic, Paul Fletcher meet director November 17/ Austin, Tx: Longhorn Open, contact Katie Ford (katieford@hotmail.com) December 1/ Thibodaux, La (Nicholls State): University Cup Challenge, Jon Magendie meet director Dont forget the date for Collegiate Nationals has been changed to April 12-14!!!!! Most of the high school meets wont start until after the football season , but I encourage you all to take an afternoon and go visit one of the local high schools and visit the lifters and coaches. Drop a little knowledge on the young ones, and offer some tips. We need them in the collegiate ranks! Business: Medals/plaques: still working on this. Need you guys to send in ideas and designs with regards to what you want on it. Remember, these will be the awards given to the top 5 placers at the Collegiate Nationals; these will be the awards YOU win. Take this oportunity to have some input with regards to their design.
