Well, I have never had the honor to meet such an awesome guy... but I did get close... It was this summer at the Moline show in Illinois... I sat in the car for 6 hours waiting to get to the show. We finally arrived around three in the afternoon. We checked in to the hotel, which was right next to the arena... I got dressed, put my "fieldy for prez" shirt on, and went over by the tour buses with my friend Liz. I saw Jon walking around but he was on his cell phone. He looked so adorable. He had his hair up in a ponytail like the one he used to in the "who then now" video. Well we somewhat just hung out by the buses for a bit... then we went into the show. It was amazing, first papa roach, then powerman. I was in the pit for proach then I decided to go upstairs to try to get into the asylum. I found josh, the guy in charge of the asylum and the kage... well, I asked him I was like "hey me and my friend got these shirts made for fieldy on the back it said 'fieldy for prez' with the logo and on the front it said you've got issues... he's your man." Well he was like "how old are you" and I told him I am 15 then he said I will see what I can do. Well hmm fuck that haha then I saw my girl betty and I was like hey can you get me in josh didn't seem much help... and of course we walked right up to the front of the line and I got my wrist band it was so awesome we walked through the backstage then over to the asylum I was right against the plastic side of the stage... it was so rad cause that was the first time I have ever been that close to KoRn I have always been stuck in the seats and finally after seeing them live 4 times this was my time to be closer then the rest! The whole show was amazing. Jon kept coming by us and he would sing.... it was so amazing being so close to someone I have looked up to for a while now. Speaking that I grew up listening to this music. Reggi kept spitting his beer on us it was somewhat sick. I mean it was in his mouth and stuff. Anyways haha Brian came over to me and handed me his guitar pick which completely made my night because I have loved Brian for god knows how long. I mean he is an amazing guitarist and I love James and Brians style. Then after that Jon started singing "kill you" and the whole time I just sat there smiling cause he went through the whole song and it just made me like oh my I just wanted to give him a huge hug I mean he is so fucken awesome I am not going to say he is a god I am not going to say he is anything else but a normal person like you and me... he went through shit like you and me but I can say this guy is amazing and I look up to him for having the courage to do what he does. In addition, for that I love him! Jon if you see this I want you to know that you have helped me when things went wrong I would turn on KoRn self titled and lay there and it would make me realize things aren't so bad.. people have it worse then me... like you did and I am sorry for the things you went through but it has helped me through my depression. It made me realize not to slit my wrists and not to try and god.... your lyrics have helped me and all I want to say is thank you for being who you are!
