Taker Loses It All??

By Seth Mates

Imagine losing everything.

One day you're on top of the world, and the next you're lying in the gutter. You go from having a loving family and being part of a corporation to floating through life on your own, with no allies. Your world has crumbed in mere hours.

That's what happened to the Undertaker last night on RAW. And just six days before a match in which Mr. McMahon says the Undertaker's career is on the line, last night's developments are just about the last thing the Undertaker needed to happen.

As the show opened, the Undertaker walked down the aisle with the rest of the Corporate Ministry. As the cornerstone of the Ministry, the Undertaker earned numerous perks, including the World Wrestling Federation Championship. The Phenom's family life has seemingly improved over the last few weeks as well, as he reunited with his estranged brother, Kane.

It sure seemed like the Undertaker had it all.

But when the Lord of Darkness took offense at Mr. McMahon's claims that he "made" the Undertaker, Triple H stepped in. All of a sudden there was a crack in the Ministry. Later in the night, when Undertaker and Triple H faced off, it was obvious that Mr. McMahon was rooting for Triple H and not the Undertaker.

Despite Mr. McMahon's claims, it looks like there definitely is a crack in the foundation of the Corporate Ministry. In fact, it looks like Mr. McMahon may have caused it due to his bias towards Triple H on Monday. Time and time again we have seen that Mr. McMahon holds the power in the Ministry, so if there is a rift between him and the Undertaker, the Phenom may come out on the short end of the stick.

Also on Monday, Kane teamed with X-Pac to take on The Big Show and Hardcore Holly. With Kane distracted, the Undertaker came down and chokeslammed X-Pac, possibly out of jealousy over the bond X-Pac and Kane have formed in recent months. Once Kane learned of the Phenom's actions, he became enraged, and chokeslammed his own brother before an emotional reunion with X-Pac.

It's all on the line at the First Blood "End of an Era" Match at Fully Loaded this Sunday. The Undertaker isn't just fighting for the Federation Championship; he's fighting for the future of Mr. McMahon and the future of the Corporate Ministry. According to Mr. McMahon, he's also fighting for his own career.

I, for one, would not be surprised to see the Undertaker emerge this Sunday as the new World Wrestling Federation Champion. In his near-decade reign with the World Wrestling Federation, the Undertaker has had a lot of B.S. thrown at him, and has come out stronger each time.

The closing image to Monday's RAW may indicate that the Undertaker simply doesn't care about his recent hardships. After busting Stone Cold Steve Austin open for the umpteenth time in recent weeks, the Phenom stood menacingly over the barely conscious bodies of Austin and Mr. McMahon, eerily licking Stone Cold's fresh blood off his fingers. Without Kane, without Mr. McMahon and without the Corporate Ministry, the Undertaker feels he can beat the odds.

Heading into Fully Loaded, it seems that the weight of the world is on the Undertaker's back. Somehow, the Undertaker will use that to his advantage, and will attempt to regain all that he lost on Monday night. After all, he's got nothing left to lose.
