Austin News

Firstly, Ross Marshall received news from Justin Coan who wrote to me saying Steve Austin was behaving very strangely last night during the dark match of Sunday Night Heat.

The tag team match Austin was participating in was with The Rock, against the Undertaker who was teaming up with Triple H. While Austin was outside the ring, leaving The Rock inside, Austin was behaving in an odd manner. People at the arena likened his behaviour to a drunken manner, and said it was comical as he made strange faces at Chyna and a peculiar spectacle with his hands, in which he acted as though he had a fish hook caught in his mouth.

It is thought Austin wrestled very little during the near half hour match, some detailing his involvement having lasted all of a combined five minutes in total. During the match, Austin performed the Stone Cold Stunner on Triple H and Chyna approximately five times. At one point during the match Triple H got up to drink some beer, and Austin proceeded to Stunner him once again.

Other notes to conclude of Austin's strange behaviour include burying his face in Chyna's heaving bosoms (aren't Debra's big enough, Steve?!?), then dragged Chyna to the outside, sat her down on the chair, opened a can of Budweiser, and poured it all over her head. On the entrance ramp after the match Austin was seen downing more beer, and dropped five or six cans thrown to him by fans in attendance.

What could have been wrong with Steve Austin? An acute case of love sickness, which brings us on nicely to our second news worthy piece . . .

Justin writes, "I just wanted to share some intereting things I saw before Heat here in Indianapolis. I was determinded to meet some of the wrestlers, so I was up and out early. I headed down to Market Square Arean, where I ran in to two nice people from Newcastle. (By the way, you owe me doubles!)

We were warned not to go on to the 3rd level of the parking garage because that was were the wrestlers were parking. With that in mind, we headed to the 3rd floor. Before we got there, we could hear a car going through the garage revving its engine, and then slamming on the brakes all the way up to the second level. I tried to see who it was, but all I saw were black Adidas pants on the passenger side, so I ran down there, and it was Debra and Stone Cold.

The security guy was nice to us, and let us hang around as long as we didn't bother anyone. That didn't last too long as a girl ran over to Mark Henry and got his autograph. He narced us out to security so we had to go to the 2nd level. We decided to stand on the ramp up to the 3rd floor. As we were, Michael Hayes and the Hardy Boys tried to run us over coming up the ramp. Then low and behold, the great one the "Rock" made his way up, and gave a wave. I had to get a pic of him, so as he was getting out of his car I asked for a pic, and he said "take it" and posed with his luggage, and I said "Thanks".

Then we saw X-Pac driving his mini van but he ignored us... We got kicked out of the garage, so we decided to stand on the street. There was a balcony where Michael Hayes came out and was talking to other people. Then Paul Wight and Badd Ass Billy Gunn were talking to Beaver Clevage's mom for a while. Meat made his way out as well. X-Pac, Road Dogg, and someone else all jumped in X-Pac's mini van, and went for a twenty minute drive... I wonder where they went??

The highlight of it though, was when Stone Cold came out. He along with Debra where standing talking to each other, and she kept leaning over his shoulder and whispering "sweet nothings" in his ear. She was like a high school girl in love. Austin turned and posed for a pic for me, so that was cool. Next thing I know, there are forty people around us. It was just me and the two people I met at first. They were all trying to get Austin to turn around so they could take pics, so the whole crowed yelled out "other side jackass" and he turned around and laughed and waved. As we stood there, some guy yelled "Show us your puppies" to Debra, but she ignored, but Austin turned around and said "shut up or I'll kick your ass!" and laughed and continued talking to Debra. Later the same guy said it again, this time he said "Show us your puppies, and we don't mean you Steve" this only got him the finger from Austin. Again no response from Debra. Finally, he turned around put his arms in the air flipping everybody off and waved and went back in. It was just awesome though before Heat went on standing around and seeing all these guys out of their element.[Ross Marshall]
