Vince McMahon was riding his Boss Hoss motorcycle down the streets of Greenwich, Connecticut when a car pulled out from a driveway and slammed into him. He was sent flying approximately 30 feet from the scene and landed directly on his back. Vince suffered a cracked tailbone and will be alright. WWF.com is suppose to have some images of the bike after the accident.

Lucas of WWF.com recently stated that a Mr. Ass could possibly be taking on the Rock in a 3 falls count match in the near future, if not at Fully Loaded. This is just the tip of the iceberg of WWF's effort to push Mr. Ass into main event status other than having him win the King of the Ring. As stated, look for the Rock and Mr. Ass to go head to head in the near future. To see the clip, visit wwf.com.

WWF King of the Ring Plus The Rest of the Weekend
June 29, 1999
The WWF was very busy this weekend. They went down to Puerto Rico for a Summer show. They then flew up to the world's most famous arena, Madison Square Garden for another show. After that it was off to North Carolina for Sunday Night Heat. King of the Ring went on, and crowned a new king. We also saw new #1 contenders for the tag team titles, Vince tries to get a new tag partner, Shawn enforces the rules, and the CEO ladder match. Click here for full PPV results.
WWF vs. WCW for ICP, Ends
June 29, 1999
It looks like both the WWF & WCW bidding war for Insane Clown Posse's services are over. ICP was scheduled to return on the 5/24 RAW, but they decided not to get on the plane since it was the day after Owen Hart tragically passed away. WCW then called and offered them a deal with a large amount of money, wanting ICP to help them on their upcoming album, with Tommy Boy Records, and do an angle. ICP agreed, as the contract was sent over three days later. ICP accepted WCW's offer since WCW offered the bigger deal, they like the Nitro Girls in a sexual way, and it had always been their dream to work in all big three promotions. Russo called back and told them not to go. ICP said even though the WWF has a better style and bigger ratings, WCW was offering more money. Russo then promised that on Wednesday (6/16), WWF would offer ICP an even bigger deal than WCW's. However, ICP was told that WCW is only interested to have them help on their new WCW Album, and not really their TV appearances. WWF's primary interest is ICP's TV appearences. ICP wants that more, and it looks as if they're on their way to the WWF.

KOTR Backstage Notes, HBK and Vince Heat, plus Austin in a little trouble with officials, a must read!!
Reported by Bill Watson on 6/28/99 Web posted at: June 28, 1999 at exactly 11:18:08 Eastern
This is thanks to Matt Mueller of TWNWnews.com
(Thanks to Jeff McGrady( a trusty source) For This E-Mail)

I was backstage at KOTR. All havoc was going on. After the Austin Match Vince had an argument with Stonecold Steve Austin about how he threw him into the ladders a bit too hard making him bleed on his head. WWF officials had warned Stone cold not to put so much pain onto Vince Due to the fact he is a owner and he needs to "walk" to control the WWF.

Also Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon had heat as well. Vince apparently was upset of what HBK said on Sunday Night heat , but they ended the arguement by just dropping it.

This post was swipped off IWZ's newsboard.

WWF comments on WCW also news on Bossman, and ICP

Thanks to Wade Keller for the Following.

** Jim Ross Responded to WCW's anti-WWF remarks on Nitro by stating the following: "Wrestling executives and wannabe television 'announcers' should probably concentrate on getting there own talent over, if in fact, the announcers in question actually has the skills to do so. Or they could provide the WWF with more on-air mentions to there rapidly shrinking audience. Cheap shot are just that and all of us should just loosen up and focus on our own products

** The WWF Website reported that a recent edition of Fox's "America's Most Wanted" profiled a fugitive known as the "Civil War Bandit." Apparently the fugitive looked enough like Big Bossman that several viewers called in and claimed Bossman was the man they were looking for. Bossman (Ray Traylor) is not under suspicion but the show is scheduled to interview Bossman for fun anyway.

** The latest on the Insane Clown Posse is that they are headed back to the World Wrestling Federation and won't sign with WCW afterall.

While just surfing around on Chris Jericho.com, I noticed something pretty interesting. Under the links section, "The Official Webpage of World Championship Wrestling" used to be the top link.

Now, what's there? The Official Webpage of the World Wrestling Federation. Take this for what you will guys... (M. Shalik)

Rumored Wrestlemania main event...
(Posted by John Flanigan on June 25, 1999 at exactlly 20:19:41 Eastern)
According to MiCasa the rumored main event for next years Wrestlemania ppv is Stone Cold Steve Austin vs "The Big Show" Paul Wight. To do this Wight would obviously have to be booked to win the 2000 Royal Rumble. This is just a rumor right now and the WWF is alway's changing things so this is definitely not a lock.

Patterson Refused To Shake Hogans Hand?, Goldberg Austin Match In Less Than 3 Years!?, Shane Douglas Confirmed For WCW?, and MORE

Hollywood Hogan put the rumors of his return to the WWF to rest on the Mancow radio show.
Hogan said he and Vince McMahon "don't get along" but he shook hands with the McMahon's at Owen Hart's funeral. Pat Patterson wouldn't shake his hand and instead laughed in his face and turned his back. He called Patterson a "faggot" He said the WWF was "x-rated porn" Hogan said Sid being back was good for WCW Hogan said he wouldn't sell anymore moves from Goldberg like once did saying he won't "cower from Goldberg's Spear" Hogan took shots at Lenny Lane for the "gay" angle on Nitro calling him "some nobody" Hogan said Sable was walking a very thin line these days Goldberg says he'll face Austin in a match "in less than three years"

Chris Jericho is returning to WCW this weekend to work some house shows. Rumors are that Jericho has been seen talking with Bruce Prichard.

Jason Ahrndt is the new Mean Street Posse member. You may recall Ahrndt getting nailed with a chair by Steve Austin in the WWF's "Get It?" commercial

From www.shanedouglas.com :
"There are offers from both companies that I am reviewing. Both are 7-figure offers and each has merits and some demerits. I am in the process of weighing out the 's and -'s of each offer. I am leaning to one side because they have been soooooo much more cordial and professional in dealing with, while the other has been a bit vague and aloof. I hope to be signed, sealed, and delivered today, Tuesday June 22."
WCW has already reported Shane Douglas is joining WCW WCW is planning on having performances by rap artists on Nitro. Naughty by Nature and No Limit's Silk the Shocker are scheduled to perform on Nitro in the next few weeks.

The WWF has already given away the winner of the King of the Ring. In promo sheets sent to stores to promote the KOTR video, the box art shows Paul Wight on the cover saying how he went through everyone to win it all. The WWF says they haven't decided who will win and not to put too much stock in the box art.
