Patriotic Emblems
The patriotic emblems appearing on this page appeared on letters Pvt. Henry C. Terrell wrote to his wife while he was serving in the 6th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment U.S. Pvt. Terrell was from Mt. Eden in Spencer County and was disabled by a gunshot wound at the Battle of Shiloh on April 7, 1862. The emblems have been provided for use on the 6th Kentucky Web Site through the courtesy of Marion Crowell, Erma Brown Waddy, Capotolia Terrell Brown Sprague, Mary Harp Franklin, and Hallie Smeltz Martinson, all descendents of Private Terrell.
