Authors note : If anyone has played the computer game Alice this is a mix with that and The old Alice in Wonderland sequal (yes there is a sequal just very old and in a diffrent way Alice entered Wonderland). Shinya turned around slowly from the mirror as the lights came on. "Wh-what happened?" He looked around the room and took in his surroundings. "Everything looks the same, maybe I was just dreaming...that has to be it, either that or I am going crazy." Shinya turned back around and gasped. Dina was sitting upright on the rug, Shinya turned around behind him and Dina still wasn't there. "What's going on? This can't be happening. I'm must be dreaming....." Shinya heard a small crash and a few small "itai's" and turned around. "Who's there?" Shinya looked around the room but still couldn't find anything. Shinya heard another crash that sounded like it came from below him. "N-nani?" He looked down and on the table was a chess bored, but to his astonishment, the chess pieces were falling! "ITAI!" One pawn fell from one part of the chess board down to the floor and fell with a soft crack. Shinya got alittle closer and looked at the chess piece. He had long blonde hair about to his back and looked very grumpy and was dressed all in white. The pawn looked up at Shinya and began screaming frantically. "It's an oni!!!! Get my baby! Tasukete!" The pawn began running around frantically through the carpet and looking up. "Iie! I'm not going to hurt you!" The pawn stopped and glared at Shinya about the time a Knight through a small baby onto the floor. "You baka! You killed my baby!" The pawn ran over to the little pile on the floor and picked it up. "Damnit you killed it!" He then dropped the pile of marble on the floor and walked off like it was nothing. "Well if you would pay attention I wouldn't have!" The knight yelled and jumped down onto the carpet and drew out his sword. "What will you have with us oni?" He proceeded to poke shinya in the ankle.

"Itai! Stop that!" Shinya kicked the small knight just enough to knock him over. "AHHH! He's going to step on us!" The pawn started screaming again and ran around the leg of the table. "Will you be quit quite! I am not going to step on you! Such manners for a pawn!" The pawn stopped and glarred up at Shinya. "Put me on the table." *Shinya blinked at the order and did so placing him in his hand and rolled the pawn onto the table. "What's your name?" Shinya looked down at the little person, or so he thought was a person, questioningly. The pawn continued to give him a heavy glare for a few moments then spoke. "My name is of no concern what is yours?" "One should always address ones self first, so I guess it would be proper for me to address myself first, very well, my name is Shinya. Pleased to meet you." Shinya cursied low and stood back up. "And you are?" The pawn glared alittle longer and held his head up high. "I am Yasu, the White Queen." He sat posing for a small time and then began slightly tilting his head to the side. Shinya looked down at him quizzically and noticed that the pawns gaze was definately below his eyes. Shinya's eyes got wide and he jumped back pushing his skirt in. "You're hentai!" Yasu snapped out of his gaze and looked up grinning. "Perhaps."

Shinya stepped back once more and heard a small shriek. "Oh! Gomen-nasai!" Shinya moved foward and realized he had stepped on the Knight from before. He bent down and gathered him by the colar and sat him on the table. "Oni! I'll have your head!" The knight stood bravely in front of Yasu with his sword drawn ready to fight. "Oh sit down you old bag of spiders." Yasu spat at him and stood up. "This is-" I am Kamijo my lady, please to meet you." Kamijo bowed in front of Alice. "You jaber-..ahh....card! How dare you cut in front of me!" Yasu pouted and crossed his arms and wrinkled his nose. "I'm sorry dear!" Kamijo looked up and blushed furiously. "Um.....miss..would you mind sitting down....I'd rather not see pink panties if it's ok with you. ^^:;;;" Shinya eeped and blushed bright pink and sat down quickly in the chair. "G-gomen-nasai..., um..Yasu, if you don't mind me asking, what was that jaber thing you were fixing to call Kamijo?" Yasu blinked and became wide eyed. "IIE! Don't ever even say that part of the name!" Yasu waved his hands frantically. "Well, if you don't mind me asking this, what is it?" Another red pawn with one yellow and one red eye stepped up. "He's the darkest creature in Wonderland, not even the Queen of Hearts will speak his name. Those who do, never come back. He is the king of nightmares in this land, the thing that turns Wonderland so wicked." "Wonderland, is that where I am? Anyways, I'm sure nothing could be all that bad, could it?" Shinya looked down quizically. "Oh, but it can." Another red pawn stepped up, another knight. "Who might you be?" The red pawn looked up. "I am the Red Queen, Kozi, and this is The Red King, Hisashi." Shinya looked down with a thoughful expression on his delicate face. "There certainly seems to be alot of Kings and Queens here." Yasu looked up and winked. "Yes, very many indeed. But none higher than the Queen of Hearts himself. He's the most evil one of them all besides the you know what." Yasu blew a kiss at Shinya and Shinya's head began to spin.

The dizziness quickly passed and Shinya took in his surroundings. He was in a garden. With stone benches and a chess board path. In the distance he could see a castle made of the most gorgeous rubies he had ever seen. But around that castle was a giant maze which he certainly thought no one could come out of or go through. Suddenly Yasu appeared in front of him sitting on a bench with a piece ot toast in his hand and he began spreading some kind of mixture on it. "Yasu? Where am I? And what are you doing?" Shinya went of to Yasu and sat beside him, for the first time realizing the where the same heights now. "My dear, you are now in the midst of the Queen of Hearts forest. Smack dab in the middle of her Labyrinth which no one ever finds one's way through. And, I am having my noon toast with raspberry jam. You can never get to much raspberry jam you know." He began spreading more and more jam on there till it appearded as if not even a dog would eat it. (Yes the jam and toast was in it. ^^;~Kyo) "Ah, if you don't mind me saying Yasu, but, I think that's quite enough jam, don't you?" "You can never have to much jam!" Yasu then began stuffing the pieces of toast taken over by jam into his mouth. "Well, may I ask why I've been taken to the Queen of Hearts forest?" Yasu looked up with a bit of dementia in his eyes. "You, my dear, are going to rid us of the Queen of Hearts." Yasu took the last bite of his toast and picked a thorn from a near by rose and began picking his teeth. "I do say! That's quite unsanitary and harmful, and don't I get a say in this?" Yasu looked up annoyed. "Iie, you have a say in nothing in Wonderland." Yasu pulled the thorn from his teeth and cut his finger and began bleeding quite heavily onto his dress. "Oh no! Now look what's happened, you've gone and cut yourself!" Yasu looked up at Shinya and the look in his eyes scared Shinya like nothing he had ever seen before. Yasu's pretty, finely shaped lips began to twist into a satanic smile and his eyes glowed a redness like Shinya had never seen before. Shinya slowly got up and began backing away from Yasu. "Follow the path and find your way into the castle if you can. Avoid the Jabberspawn and you might live." Yasu pointed up to the castle and glared. "You're own nightmares are the beginning to your END!" Shinya screamed as a crack of lightning his Yasu and he disappeared with nothing but his smoldering clothes on the floor with blood spread throuth them.

Shinya looked at the smoldering clothes a bit longer with fear in his small almond eyes. "Now that was a bit strange, but to think of it, all of this is a bit strange. I wonder what became of him?" Shinya looked at the ashed awhile longer and snapped out of his thoughts abruptly. "Well, I guess I might as well go and try to find a way out of her at least. Or something of that sort. Before Shinya could move a strange looking cat like person with long red scrangly hair and a twisted, but gorgeous grin appeared in the tree in front of him. "Ah!" Shinya jumped with a start at the intrusion. But the cat just kept on grinning at him with his deep brown eyes staring into his not even flinching. "Know who might you be? Certainly not one of the Queen's guards I should hope. You're not another Queen or King are you?" Shinya knit togeather his eyebrows and crossed his arms most uncerimoniously and gave a worried look. The cat person kept staring at him for quite some time until Shinya had had enough. "Cat got your tongue? Or are you deaf? Well, either way I dont' have time to stand around. Good day to you." Shinya began to step on a red square and faultered. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Shinya jumped back to his spot with a start. "You spoke!" The cat just stared. Shinya rolled his eyes, most unlady-like, and began to step on a white square. "I wouldn't do that either if I were you." "Blast it cat then what am I to do! If I can't step anywhere how am I to leave this acursed spot!" Shinya huffed and wrinkled up his nose. The cat looked on at him for a moment with something in his eyes. Shinya looked at them for a moment and pondered on the though. Was that greed, malice, ...lust? No, he was taunting him. Shinya's bottom lip began to quiver and tears whelled up into his eyes. The cat's eyes became slightly wide in surprise.

"If you have to know, why not fly?" The cat turned slightly to his side and looked at Shinya sideways. "But I have no wings. Maybe if I find a rather large bird. There has to be one in this akward world." "But I would not do that either if I were you." Shinya was slowly loosing his patience with the cat and his face became red. "Well then what would you do damnit!" Shinya gasped and quickly regained his composer. The cat looked at him sideways with a rather amused and curious look. "I mean, what am I to do that you would do also." The cat looked thoughtful for a moment then looked back at Shinya still grinning the whole time. "Nothing." "NOTHING? Well if I am to do nothing....then how am I to get home....." Shinya sat down on the bench and began crying. The cat looked at him for a moment and disappeared. Shinya looked up to see him gone and began crying harder. The cat reappeared next to Shinya and put his arms around Shinya's shoulders and pulled him to him. Shinya looked up shocked and moved away slightly. "W-what *sniff* What are you doing?" The cat looked down at Shinya and began grinning again. "I'm loving you." Shinya "eeped" and stood up away from the grinning fool. The cat stayed staring at Shinya till he could tell he was becoming uncomfortable. The cat sprawled out on his back on the bench and streached. "If you need to know, you're simply not asking the right questions." Shinya sighed and looked down at the small square of grass he was standing on. "Which way shall I go?" The cat's grin became wider and cocked his head to the side. "That's more like it. Well, if you want to go that way,"He pointed to the right. "It will lead you to the Mad Hatters house." Shinya looked at him bewildered. "Well, I certainly don't want to go to a mad person's house now do I." The cat raised an eyebrow and went on. "If you go that way, "He pointed to the left."Then it will take you to the Hares house. And if you go that way," He pointed straight ahead. "It will take you to the Dutchesses house." Shinya looked at him quizzacly. "Well, I quess that leaves me with two choices, left or straight." "Either way you go, they're all mad." Shinya looked up with a start. "Really? Well I shant want to go to any of them. But if I have no choice." Shinya began to step on the red square again. "I wouldn't do-" "Do that if I were you." Shinya stepped back and sighed. "Which square's may I step on?" The cat smiled wider again. "The white. Stay from the red or Wonderland shall be turned upside down into your worst nightmares..." The cat's head ubruptly turned upside down. "Oh my!" Shinya put his hand to his mouth and gasped. The cat began to slowly disappear in front of Shinya's eyes. "No! Wait!" The cat slowly reappeared on the bench with an annoyed expresion in his smile. "Hai?" "What's your name? And who are you?" Die smirked and sighed. "My name is Die. Who I am is of no importance here. All you need to know is I'm your friend." With that Die disappeared from site before Shinya could protest.

"Well, that was entirely useless." Shinya sighed and looked to the right, then the left, and then straightfoward. "If I must go one way, and they are all mad, then, I guess I'll go this way." Shinya began walking off to the right into the brightly lit forest. As Shinya skipped along over the red squares and onto the white ones, he noticed the sky began to slowly turn darker, and the trees became closer togeather. The forest seemed to take on an almost red eery glow to it. As Shinya walked on he thought he saw red eyes staring out at him from the bushes and he began picking up his pace into a run until he came to a clearing in the woods. The sky had become completely black and trees were dead and hollow and seemed to illuminate a red glow. The air had a thick fog going through it and seemed to glow slightly as to see one's surroundings. In the middle of the clearing was a long tea table to seat about 20. With two huge chairs at the ends of each. The setting looked torn and ragged and quit frankly scared Shinya to death. "I wished I had listened to Die-kun......I never should have stepped on the red square back there....." Shinya closed his eyes tightly for a few moments and began walking foward towards the table, not caring which squares he walked on anymore considering he'd already stepped on a red one. Shinya came up to the table and took in it's contents. The two chairs at the end had huge horns protruding from them with ragged pieces of fabric hanging from the ends. The chairs were black and had spikes sticking from the sides and the red velvet of the seats, was torn and pulled with stuffing falling out every now and then. The table had a rather ragged cloth spread across it with mice holes eaten though it. Tea cups were spread in front of each chair, each chipped or brocken, and a sort of red, thick, liquid in them. Certainly not tea, to Shinya it seemed more like....blood maybe? Shinya looked at the rest of the setting and noticed a quit paculear tea pot. It was painted black. And had pretty, gold drawings across it, but the lid had one large spike patruding from the top. The top began to bubble a red liquid out of it and Shinya reached over and pulled of the lid, careful not to prick himself. Suddenly, a large black rat with foam pouring from his mouth, and red glowing eyes and jagged fangs and claws jumped out and onto Shinya's dress. "AHHHH! Get off you monster!" Shinya began to swat at the nuisence and finally it jumped of and back into the tea pot. (The door mouse. ^^;; ~Kyo) Shinya looked up bewildered and noticed the fog became thicker and began to move faster. The trees seemed to knit in togeather as if plotting to grab him right from that very spot. Suddenly Shinya heard a twig snap from behind the chair at the other end. He whipped around a promply began to scream at what he saw.
