Part 7

Again, inside Devil Kyo’s mansion.

Kaoru awoke when he felt fingers moved gently across his face, he opened his eyes and saw Toshiya gazing down at him. It took him a few seconds to recall that he’d been taking to Devil Kyo’s mansion; obviously it could explain why he was in bed together with the blue head.

Toshiya completed his wish again, so according to their contact. Now he belonged to Toshiya.

“Are you feeling better now?”

The blue head asked softly, but without waiting Kaoru to make any reply. He soundlessly leaned himself in like a cat and pressed his lips on Kaoru’s, and stared kissing those unresponsive lips more and more passionately…his hands were also busy undoing the purple head’s clothes.(Wooo! This one is for you VM!^o^)

~I really want you…so much!~ Toshiya thought to himself as his hands travelled down to the other man’s torso, and moved his lips on to Kaoru’s neck.

Kaoru found it was so hard to resist and his consciousness started turned blank. All he could do was follow Toshiya’s movement, until he heard that…

“Forgive me…” those words escaped from Toshiya’s lips before they both totally overwhelming by an intellect less lust.

“Wait…”Toshiya’s words immediately drew Kaoru’s attention and conscience back, he could feel that there was something odd in Toshiya’s tone. So he pushed Toshiya back slightly, then with a sanely voice he asked. ”Forgive you…for what?”

Realizing that he’d spoken something he didn’t mean to say carelessly. The blue head pulled away his head from the latter’s chest.

“Nothing. I’d just slipped something…something meaningless. ” Toshiya answered this question simply. However, he knew Kaoru was suspecting, he didn’t believe it’s really meaningless by the look on the latter’s eyes.

Even the purple head didn’t say anything any more, still Toshiya felt unexpectedly tired, so he leaned down again in front of Kaoru’s chests and he couldn’t stop worrying suddenly that he could continue lying to Kaoru for how long?

If Kaoru found out what this [pill of revive] had actually done to Die…

If Kaoru found out that, he was lying to him…

“Toshiya…?” Kaoru said softly to Toshiya. He felt messed up, something must be wrong…. But what’s wrong actually?

Toshiya turned his sight away to avoid Kaoru’s gaze, it was harder than he had imagined…Kaoru didn’t know anything….he felt so guilty every time his eyes met such innocent sights…

~No, I can’t hesitate now! I’m worth to have Kaoru because I had pay off my price too!~ Toshiya forced himself to stare at Kaoru’s face, and reminded himself once again. He’d done so many thing to win this man…slowly his heart turned hard again.

~You must hate me if you figured out what I’d done…so…I won’t let you know what that [pill of revive] really is! Never!~ The blue haired frowned slightly then made up his mind.

~Eventually you’ll be mine, so I would never let you go again…~

Meanwhile, someone was knocking on the door. Toshiya almost jumped over to it and opened it. Shinya stood at the doorway.

“Shinya? What the matter?”

“Sorry to interrupt you lovebirds.” Shinya began dryly, staring at the couple. “But Master said he have to talk with you.”

At the same time the three saw Kyo appeared besides Shinya. The Devil was dressed up a gorgeous dark kimono.

“Toshiya, it’s time to go!” Devil Kyo went forward and clenched the blue head’s dress slightly.

“Go? Where?” Toshiya asked uneasily…was he forgetting something?

“What? You promised to take me to the Toy-shop tonight ne!”(oh…isn’t it sounds TOO cute?@_@)

“Oh really?” Toshiya widened his eyes.” But I can’t remember…”

“I want to have some new toy…but you know I always get lost…so…” Kyo blinked cutely. ”Bring me there!”

“But…Master can you ask Shinya to go with you?I…I’m-”

Kyo pouted, blinked his tearful eyes even harder.” Tochi…you DID promise me….”

“All right, all right I will go with you! Please don’t make this sad face!>.<” Toshiya quickly replied before the little Devil start to cry.

“Iyta! Let’s go Tochi!” Devil Kyo hurried Toshiya to come with him.

“Just wait a minute….”Before reaching to his Master, Toshiya turned around and faced Kaoru once again, he lowed himself to gave the purple head a slight kiss in his forehead. “we’ll continue it later! Bye pretty!”

Kaoru:^^;;;

“Shin-shin…”Meanwhile, on the doorway of the room Kyo told the other withch. “now I permit you to play with my new *marionette* first, okay?^^”

Shinya hesitated for a second, not sure what was his Master talking about, but then he realized what the Devil meant. “I understand, Master.”

He bowed and waved to say farewell to his friend and his master.

Finally Toshiya and Kyo disappeared, leaving Kaoru and Shinya behind.

Later on…

“Hey.”

Kaoru heard a voice called out to him when he was sitting near the windowsill in the corner along the passage alone. He turned his head and found it was Shinya.

“Mind to have some talk?” Shinya walking out of the shadow of the doorway and asked.

“Er…I don’t mind.”

The blonde hair witch went over to his side and sat down beside him.

“I have to ask you some question ne. Strange, there’s something I really can’t understand…” Shinya said, with a confused look on his face.

“Yes?” Kaoru was surprised to hear Shinya said there’s something [he can’t understand].

“Toshiya told me this…you wanted to use the power of Devil for the love of a person whom you should have never fallen in love with, so didn’t your wish came true eventually?”

“Yes.” Kaoru bit his lip, manger a bitter smile.

“Then…what happened? Why you ‘re willing to stand with Toshiya now instead of your lover?” Shinya want to know what’d happened between this purple head and his friend because he didn’t know much detail about the whole incident.

“Because I can’t bear to see my love one dead in front of my eyes, so I borrowed Toshiya’s power again to bring him back, and it’s the price for my second wish as you can see.”

“You completed one more contract just in order to save his life?”Shinya went on, ”so who’s that person you love indeed? Why you can’t love him?” Shinya asked curiously.

“He’s my own brother.”

“Oh.”

~that’s really a forbidden romantic relationship ne~Shinya thought.

Then the two went into silence again, Kaoru realized that he’ve just spoken so many things to a man who he barely know. Furthermore, he had never spoken that much to the blonde head before.

“You don’t love Toshiya, right?” Suddenly Shinya spoke again.

“…Yes, I don’t.” Kaoru hesitated a little before he replied honestly, feeling more confuse by the blond hair witch question.

“Toshiya know the fact you don’t love him back , and won’t fall in love with him either, he know all this well too, right?”

“Yes. I think he knows.”

“You and Tochi are *so* strange! Why you guys still keep on falling with those people whom you know you shouldn’t fall in love with? Why? Why can’t you just walk away from that mess and pack any body up else?”

“When you really fall in love with someone, that person’ll become so important to you that he or she’s irreplaceable. ” Kaoru tried to explain to the witch.

“Can’t understand what you’re talking about…it sound so silly.” In fact Shinya only got even more confused; he could hardly get the idea that some body could be irreplaceable.

“You’re right, it’s really crazy but it’s truth.”

~Perhaps I can’t understand what he said because no one tell me how to feel love.~

Shinya thought to himself, at least he could tell that Kaoru really love his brother, and for this Shinya felt a bit sorry for him, because Shinya knew too well that what the pill he fixed for Toshiya actually was. He also knew that if Kaoru really know what that [pill of revive] was…he must have refused to make contract with Toshiya again…

But so what? Well, it’s not his business…so why bother that much? Shinya shrugged, and stared at the purple head with some pity in his eyes.

~Everything’s already too late for you or your brother…

It was already mid-night, the sky outside was heavy with gray clouds, some night bird kept cooing from nowhere.…a storm may on it way.

And in such miserable night, Die’s funeral had been hosted.

Almost all residents in this small town had came to the church to say goodbye to the beloved read head young man, instead of his younger brother, Kaoru, who has been missing since the night before.

Now everybody had already returned home and the funeral was almost going to an end. Inside the church Die was laying in a coffin, which was placed in the middle of the hall, surround by flowers, as if he was just in a peacefully deep sleep. Hide sat beside the coffin alone.

Die was gone and Kaoru was missing…and the monster, dark magic…all of them were just too much for him to bear.

Hide remembered the night before in the hospital; still being too shock by what the monster had told him, Hide manger to walk back to the ward after he found Kaoru was missing. But in front of the ward’s door the doctor blocked his way and told him that the red head had just taken his last breath a few minutes early. There was nothing more neither he nor another man could do for this poor young man now.

Eventually Die was gone.

He was so confused, sat at the same place silently before four or five undertakers went to Hide and asked. “Hide-sama? Shall we remove the coffin now?”

Hide signed and wept his forehead, his eyes were red and mostly.” No, please just wait a little bit longer…”

The other men looked at each other, they thought they’d better follow what Hide told them, so they bowed and left the church, leaving Hide alone in the church with the coffin. Then carefully he brought the little bottle with red liquid, which had been hiding, in his pocket.

He knew that he could bright Die back by using this pill…[the pill of revive]…it was what the monster told him. However, he was still wondering. Is that really a right thing to do for him to bring a dead man back to life by using such evil power?

Hide really didn’t what he can do, or what he was supposed to do now.

But time was running out, he knew that sooner or latter he would have to make this decision.

Slowly he stepped out of the church, stood near the gate. He heard some noise, it sound so loud and strange. He looked up and saw ghostly blue light spreading out of the top of the birch forest. The blue light trembled madly above the dark forest like a monster in the middle of the night. As if the light itself had its own life and will. It was such a fearsome light that made Hide felt like bloodcurdling. He could faintly feel that something bad was on it way already by an instant.

~Where have you been now, Kaoru?

Hide looked at his own hand then peered at the bottle; he knew he was going to do it, because it was what Kaoru want. Finally he took one more deep breath before poured all the liquid into Die’s mouth.

Then there was nothing else for Hide to do but waiting. He had finally done it… Perhaps it was a mistake…but it’s too late. All he could do was to pray the worse things-even thought he couldn’t tell what can be ever worse, wouldn’t come.
