SBS Files

2003 Updates

Oct 01: NL Raw data, same deal with interleague splits.

Sep 30: AL Raw data, as usual I haven't split data for players who played on more than one team within a league.

2002 Updates

Oct 05: MLB Final and Raw data, as usual I haven't split data for players who played on more than one team within a league. That's what Brandon is here for.

2001 Updates

Oct 09: MLB Final Stats as well as Raw data, including all the players I cut.

Also added Mischa Gehman's lineup data which I was too lazy to incorporate. Thanks Mischa.

JULY 11: MLB Stats as of the all-star break.

Hey, at least Rico Brogna isn't hitting lead-off anymore.

JUNE 6: MLB Stats as of the end of May 2001.

MAY 1: MLB Stats as of the end of April 2001.

Don't blame me if Carlos Delgado hits 80HRs in your simulation and Craig Grebeck goes 0-for-July.

APR 27: Released sbsrand2

APR 27: Added Schedule Files for MLB AAA AA and Northern League for 2001

Wheeeeeeeee. Imaginary Friends: sbsrand2.zip

2000 Updates

NOV 24: Added the complete waste of time sbsrand.zip which (assuming it works in DOS and not just UNIX) will generate a 25 player roster of random players. Simulating real players wasn't enough, now I can simulate imaginary people. Hurray for my psychiatrist.

NOV 3: Included both the RAW and list of FIXES to the MLB stats compiled in October. The fixes essentially break up the league stats for players who played for more than one team in the same league. The October 3rd files only listed cummulative stats.

There will be a few discrepancies in the GBP data such as where the starting DH is replaced, and whether that counts as a player being a PH or the DH. Not a big deal, but if you want accuracy you can do the doublechecking for me.

OCT 3: BIG2000.zip splits the players by team, however you will have to edit the teams down to 34 players since SBS won't be able to handle more than that

00FINAL.ZIP splits the players by league, useful for sbsdraf4.pl or whatever number I'm up to now.

As always you can reach me by e-mailor check out the main Strategic Baseball Simulator site on the web.
