Welcome to St. John's Anglican Church Website
St. Johns is a mixture of old and new church families united by a common love for their church and God. Our goals focus around our baptismal promises to love and serve God in Jesus Christ, to renounce evil, and to love others as ourselves.
We are located midway between Highway 17 and the CPR tracks, at the intersection of Ontario and Winnipeg Streets, Schreiber, Ontario. St. Andrew's United Church is directly across from us, as is the Public School.
Our congregation is not large, but is hard working. The existence of full-service Anglican Churches on the north shore of Lake Superior is somewhat of a miracle. St. John's energy is divided between a focus on spiritual growth and mutual ministry, and various kinds of fundraising. Our needs have given us common purpose in seeking to follow God's leading in every sense, and in looking for creative ways to muster the resources needed to do that.
