RECORD PLAYER ART

I did this activity with 17 kids in the room.
They were all glued to the record player waiting their turn.
I asked for volunteers from the kids to help trace and cut.
You can use paper or paper plates but we used white poster board
then laminated them to take home.

Have kids trace around an old record onto poster board.
They will probably need help cutting it out.
Punch a small hole in the middle of the paper record.
Arrange crayons, markers and colored pencils beside record player.
Place the paper record on the player and turn on letting
the children pick what speed they want to draw on.
Stress to lightly place the pens or markers on the paper.
Your teaching colors, light, soft, fast, slow, circles etc...
