Ornaments

Color, paint or glue strips of crepe paper onto a paper cup.
Attach a pipe cleaner to the top.

Cut christmas shapes from construction paper by tracing around
cardboard cutouts or cookie cutters. Decorate with glitter and attach
yarn to top with tape.

Crush alumium foil into different shapes. Wrap a pipe cleaner
around it to hang.

Roll small pinecone in white tempera paint. Allow to dry.
Wrap a pipe cleaner or piece of yarn around the top to hang.

Twist together red and white pipe cleaners to form a candy cane.

Wreath Ornaments

Dip rigatoni in water mixed with food coloring.
Dry on wax paper. String 3 to 5 pieces on a ribbon
and tie ends together in a bow. Use pipe cleaner for a hanger.

Chain Ornaments

Cut strips of bright paper about one inch wide.
Glue strips in a circle. String using yarn.
Variations: Squeeze a long strip of aluminum foil to hang on the tree.
String colored cotton balls. Put balls in a bag with tempera paint and shake.
String macaroni, drinking straws, popped corn, cranberries, cereal or
styrofoam packing pieces.

Christmas Card

Fold colored paper in half. Paint hands and make print on the outside
with a message from the child on the inside.
Variations: Sprinkle with glue and glitter.
Glue bright crepe paper strips on.
Note: Always add the date to the back. Parents like that.
